Yeah, sure!
All you need is a name for the sponsor
When we have the save code, it will have a “Powered by (INSERT SPONSOR NAME HERE)”
If not, you can just put you username

Alright so new features for v1.1
As you all know, v1.0 is dead. Literally. It crashes. So what will happen? Well, the apps I have now will be the main apps. I will try to add more apps in the future but I don't know if our computers would handle such a thing. If Scratch crashes, we can always try Turbowarp. If not, we could convert Scratch to HTML. I don't know if that would make a difference though… can someone clarify that for me, please?

So what will v1.1 have in store? A better login system. So I will have a guest mode and a user mode. A user mode is accessed through a save code that you made when you are in guest mode. So when you load in the save code, you will become a user. User mode will have cool features such as apps open, dark mode or light mode, different settings set, volume set, and profile picture (made on Figma)

We will have a really nice backdrop. It looks like an ocean. Because it's a simplistic ocean. It reacts to the time of day based on your time zone. from 5-7, it's sunset. From 8-6, it's the day. From 6-7, it's sunset. From 8-4, it's night.

For the browsers, they will be getting added. You can choose 3 when v1.1 (actual release, not beta) launches. Aspect Explorer, Soogle, and possibly Spacefox. I will have to check in with shahm and mbrick for those. But Aspect Explorer will try to be ready. We won't have a database for actual Google searches, sadly. But instead, we will have people submit websites and we will add the websites there.

For the navbar (the one with the time, wifi, and the Aspect Logo), we will have an option to have it on the top, the bottom, left, or right. By doing this, the apps featured (the little oval bar where the apps are) will react to your settings. If you have the navbar at the bottom, the app dock will move to the top, You have the navbar on the left? The app dock will move to the right. This will release when the v1.1 full release version comes out.

Adding to this, we will have a Turbowarp version for v1.1
Now, this might sound weird. AI, why do we need a Turbowarp version when the Scratch version would work just fine? That's a good question. If you don't know already, Turbowarp has interpolation and high-quality pen. Doing this will make the OS run smoother and the STE++ will look better. In doing this, users will feel like they are in a new era of AspectOS. But that's not all. We are using unlimited cloud variables and we are going to export that into the Turbowarp Packager. Now, this sounds pretty insane. But this will be incredible because you could save it to your local browser and therefore, you can continue where you left off.

Next, we will be using circle icons. Now, I have experimented and I have seen that circle app icons take up more space than square app icons by a few KB but it's just a few. By doing this, it will create sort of a Samsung atmosphere and it will be more familiar to those users.

Now adding on to the mobile version, we will use an OS detector to see if they are on Windows, Chrome, etc.
By doing this, we can ask the question (are you on a mobile device), and if they say yes, we will make icons bigger and we will have the same code for them (since cloud variables don't work on mobile). If they are computers, we make the icons original size and everything is normal

Last but not least, widgets. Sometimes that was originally planned in v1.0 but didn't make the final cut. For widgets, we will let the user choose the widgets, It could be a gallery, time, “weather”, calendar, and all of that good stuff. They can customize where their widgets would be using the “Widget Test” tool in the settings app. This way, the user is comfortable with their layout. As far as I know, IDK if widgets would be used in the save code but since it is using unlimited cloud variables (turbowarp mode only), I think it's ok. For the Scratch version, we could use a save code for it

So, that's it! That's all I want to share in terms of new features in v1.1! Hopefully, this doesn't fail and we can make comeback! Let's just not talk about 1.0 when 1.1 releases. Please. It's a disaster. If you guys have any concerns with the following features, just let me know and I will try my best to see if workarounds are possible or if we could use a backup feature. I hope you guys like the idea!























Oh, you are still reading this? Wow! You really want to know the features! Alright, one more. Right-Clicking! Now this sounds insane. Right-clicking isn't possible anymore! Well, I found a workaround that might work. Let's just say that the user cannot hold the mouse down button for more than 1.75 seconds. Doing that will kind of trigger the right click. Now you might be asking, what does the right click do? If you are touching the stage, it will have options such as “Change Wallpaper” or “Switch to Dark or Light Mode” or “Save”

Change Wallpaper changes the wallpaper (when I make more)
Switching to Light or Dark mode means that it changes the brightness to the opposite of your brightness
For example, if you have light mode on when you right-click, it says “Switch to Dark Mode”
For save, it generates the save code for you to use.

Right Click might not work for apps. But instead, we have double clicking. When you double click, a menu pops up saying “Unpin App” or “Delete App”

Unpin App means that the app will not be on the bar (5 apps are on the bar at a time. We will start off with 10 apps)
Delete App means that the app will be gone until you reinstall it.

So it's a pretty good settings

Now like I said, v1.1 might take a while. It might release in mid-2022 to early 2023. It all depends.

Fixed a bug in v1.1 where the wallpaper turns black

It was because the code said

if <<[19] < (current [hour v])> and <[5] > (current [hour v])>> then
switch backdrop to [Sparkle Sea v]
end

If the current hour is 20, then the second wouldn't be right
So I got right of the <5 > (current hour)> and now it's just the <19 < (current hour)>
