I am sorry but you will be removed from the collaboration as you were too late. We are only accepting 25 members into the collaboration. After that, we may or may not have applications open. We have a contributor max of 25 and no more than that!

What if I have a task, but didn't make the new team?
If you had a task in the previous team, then you have the option to work on it. You will be credited, but that will be the last task(s) you do. You cannot do anymore after that. Or you can not do the task and move on

Does this mean I will be removed from AspectOS entirely?

As I said, we are making a new team. This will be for the old team. You can suggest ideas and we will consider them. But you will not be on the team. You will still be credited though. You will be a deactivated member. You can only suggest things and show bug fixes, but cannot do the new work

Why is this happening? Why 25?

The reason why 25 is because managing 40 people is too much. I need to have a smaller, organized team so that we can accomplish things faster and look towards a neat goal. It's best for the future of AspectOS.

Why don't alts get protected

We do not want alternate accounts as contributors no matter what. We want to confirm whether or not you are actually going to use that account. We only allow a max of 2 alternate accounts. We do not accept any more accounts than that. Starting on February 20, 2022, all contributors with 3 or more alternate accounts will have to remove one of them to avoid our contributor list being full of alternate accounts.

What else will be new following this transfer?
We will introduce a new tag called {OG} for those who have been in the original team, launching Sunday February 21, 2022. We will also have a new banner and a new format for showing things. We will have faster pages and better rules to make sure that AspectOS is fair to everybody.

Actually, it doesn't matter if you have contributed or not in AspectOS in the old team
If you apply for the new team, it shows that you are ready to do tasks again. You will get accepted automatically when filling out a revival form

If I may add, although you will still be able to be in the old team, you won't be able to access Github, Glitch, Replit, and Figma things related to AspectOS.
