I'm the Head of Department for IT, in high school located in North Queensland , Australia. My Year 7 class will be introduced to programming using 'Scratch', for the Digital Technologies curriculum.

This year I am writing a new unit of work to introduce Year 7 students to computer programming. Students will create small programs which use repetition and iteration to solve a problem.
