new block I havent seen

Hello, I am using scratch since 2.0 and I opened scratch today and saw this strange block:

(distance to [ v])

Is this a new block scratch has added? Or was it there all the time? I am trying to figure out how that block works.

That's been there.

Since at least 1.4.



It reports the distance to the sprite you put in there.
This signature is designed to be as useful as possible.
