Profile page banners can personalize profile pages and make them look nice. To change the banner, you can paste a link that is an image coming from a website in Scratch's image uploader whitelist. This feature allows users to add their own personal touch to their profiles and showcase their individuality. It's a great way to make profile pages more visually appealing and engaging for visitors.

When uploading a banner image on Scratch, it's important to note that you can't directly upload a photo from your computer. However, you can use an image uploader such as Cubeupload to upload your banner image. This measure is in place to ensure that only appropriate content is shared on Scratch, which is intended for users ages 8 and up. This policy helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all Scratch users.

Scratch is a creative website. They encourage art, music, animations, and making stories. There is a lot more, but I don't feel like getting into that

Besides, based on your logic, what's the goal of signatures? All people do is talk about themselves and stuff they like with images. (Obviously, people do more)

I took a break from the forums because it did a number on my mental health and made me consider some not so good choices. I came back because I thought I was ready, but I feel like I can still barely handle it, even with staying away from most drama hotspots…

Try to refrain from saying, ‘No support’. It comes off as extremely negative. “The forums are for criticism! Don't post it you don't want it!” Agreed. But I never said that you should agree with everyone. No suggestion will ever be perfect

“No support, people would spam with it”
“This would lead to a lot of spam, since people can't get away from it. Not to mention, it might upset a few people with the way it's implemented”

In #1, you didn't help OP at all. You said you didn't like it, and why. Nothing else. Not even what was causing the issue of spam
In #2, you pointed out the flaws and the root causes of them. Flaws shouldn't always get a suggestion absolutely ignored

And simply supporting doesn't always help either. It's not a voting system, it's improving your ideas. There's going to be cons, there's going to be flaws, and that's the point of the suggestions. No suggestion is ever 100% perfect in any way
Here are some things you can look out for:
-Are there any flaws/cons that haven't been addressed or fixed?
-Is this idea fully flushed out? Or are there some questions you can ask?
-Are there any flaws that you know how to fix or do you know how to flush something out a bit more?
-Is there anyone else who is confused and needs some clarification?

If you don't have to do any of these, then you can move on!

Is a suggestion unable to be added because it's just impossible? Point out why and have them decide what to do next
But still, try not to say ‘no support’

The image host URL thing would confuse new users. (Yes, the forums use it, but most new Scratch users don't know about the forums).

This is a public signature, so anyone can change it. I do not necessarily believe or support what it says, and I have no control over its content.

Most of all Scratchers, new or not, don't know about the forums. I agree- the image host thing would confuse people.

This might be a case where the ST just has to host it themselves for once.

well I mean in general you could just
Open a new tab
Make a new project on scratch
Then You Could Import a image or a method to get animated banner projects I guess
Then Share That Project
Then Go To My Stuff
On The Oringal Tab Click On Your featured project
Then Click on the banner project But DO NOT HIT OK
Then on the other tab hit unshare
Then On The Oringal Tab Hit the ok to feature it as your project
Then your done

Profile pictures aren't held back by that restriction, how would that make sense?

That's gonna confuse the new users (and many non-forumers) for sure.

I don't think the scratch team will think this is worth adding, it's not like you need it for mockups after all.
