A preview version for the next update has been released:
Preview 2.6.201
Previews are unstable MB14F versions that test out new features
2.6.201 feature is Creative Scrolling Sliders.
Due to space constraints, I had to look for a way to fit 46+ items in 1 creative tab.
@RandomLuisness made a mod that is in Preview 2.6.201

Another Preview version was released today!
Preview 2.6.202 (fork of 2.6.2 / preview for 2.7)
Adds archeology, suspicious sand and the brush
Chiseled Stone Bricks are now legitimately obtainable in survival mode without creative (put 1 stone bricks in the creative menu to get 1 chiseled stone bricks)

I am aware that there are performance issues in versions 2.6 (August 10 2024) and later.
Some of the source code is outdated (the game is based off of Paper Minecraft by griffpatch) (made a long time ago)
If you prefer FPS over content, try version 2.2 / 2.2.1 (the same blocks as Paper Minecraft)
2.2 has less lag than other versions
Version 2.6 has caused several lag issues.

Fact:
If you smelt poisonous bread in 2.6 and later, you can get normal bread.
Poisonous bread is only obtainable in survival in version 2.4 (May 21 2024)
Poisonous Bread is still poisonous, even in versions later than 2.4
Poisonous bread still exists as of version 2.6.3 in a list and is consumable.

Update 2.6.4 (August 21 2024) is coming out later today.
The “Islands” biome was tweaked and jungle trees are obtainable (replaces birch in the Islands biome)
How to tell you have an “Islands” biome:
If you have commands enabled, you can type “/b” or “/biome” to find the biome id
If the biome id is 5, then you are in a Island biome.
Jungle Trees, wood and saplings are now obtainable in survival with this version
Comes out at 6PM PST today

I found a door duplication glitch
This glitch only works in creative mode
How to duplicate the doors:
1. Have a wall that has a water source block below
2. Use the water to transport the doors to where you want them to go
3. The door will break and create more doors than you started with

I fixed a bug in a development version and added the breeze and pandas in a development version

The wither, blaze and hoglin do not work in the development versions and caused all hostile mobs to break.
The passive mobs were the only working mobs.
I guess the mobs will be replaced with other mobs.
I didn't want to do this, but a bug broke them.
The hostile mobs are cancelled
The 2.7 mobs will be replaced with the following content:
Hoglins are still being added (passive)
Reactor for the wither
Reactor for blaze
