Well, I do something more like 2.5D with the stamp block. It uses layers, but it rotates 3D and everything.

yes please ! (I also do this kind of 2.5D using a engine I coded myself

, and I do real 3D with pen tool and thousand of math things but the engine I'm doing for it is still in progress)
