Auto - An auto level.
Super easy - Literally no dangers whatsoever.
Baby - You don't need to know how to play Appel to beat this.
Easy - Anyone with a little bit of platforming skills can beat this.
Casual - Maybe a few more spikes, but still easy.
Meh - Basically Easy but longer.
Medium - Might take a bit longer, you might die a few times…
Hard - A more challenging but still fun level.
Very Hard - Now we're wading into pretty difficult waters. You're gonna need to put in some practice for this…
Extremely Hard - Lots of spikes, longer, fewer checkpoints, ouch…
Violent - Only very experienced Appel players can beat this.
Punishing - And only the best of THEM can proceed from here…
Insanity - Welp, we're dead. Try asking the Appel Gods for help.
Insanity+ - Nope, it's beyond the grasps of even the Appel Gods.
Insanity++ - Forget it. Go hide in your bunker.
Nightmarish - No chance. This is for the dedicated only. 0_0
Hellish - Why are we still here… just to suffer….
Critical - Only bloody-minded people would ever want to create a level of this difficulty, let alone BEAT one…
Hypercritical - And only complete SOCIOPATHS would make one like THIS…
Unfathomable - Exactly what it sounds like.
Impossible - Why even add an end flag at all? No level should ever be anywhere close to this.

Baby: Practically an auto level.
Easy: Anyone who knows the basics of Appel can play this. Often gimmick or joke levels.
Medium: A challenge for beginners. A bit tricky at most.
Hard: Usually rather long but fun. One of my best levels, Facility 49, is of this difficulty.
Harder: Harder than Hard. Self-explanatory.
Insane: Rather difficult. Probably requires decent knowledge of Appel.
Insane EX: Even harder than Insane. A bit too short to be Extreme, though.
Extreme: Only my hardest levels are of this difficulty.
Xtreme: The hardest difficulty… or is it?

(btw i dont post replays because:
1. i dont play levels often
2. i suck a lot, meaning replays have lots of deaths
3. i dislike replaying for a decent run (very difficult), that's what other players on this forum are for
4. sometimes when i dont enjoy a level or am not in the mood for appel, i just dont play the level at all

Super easy - Literally no dangers whatsoever.
Baby - You don't need to know how to play Appel to beat this.
Easy - Anyone with a little bit of platforming skills can beat this.
Casual - Maybe a few more spikes, but still easy.
Meh - Basically Easy but longer.
Medium - Might take a bit longer, you might die a few times…
Hard - A more challenging but still fun level.
Very Hard - Now we're wading into pretty difficult waters. You're gonna need to put in some practice for this…
Extremely Hard - Lots of spikes, longer, fewer checkpoints, ouch…
Violent - Only very experienced Appel players can beat this.
Punishing - And only the best of THEM can proceed from here…
Insanity - Welp, we're dead. Try asking the Appel Gods for help.
Insanity+ - Nope, it's beyond the grasps of even the Appel Gods.
Insanity++ - Forget it. Go hide in your bunker.

Critical - Only bloody-minded people would ever want to create a level of this difficulty, let alone BEAT one…
Hypercritical - And only complete SOCIOPATHS would make one like THIS…
Unfathomable - Exactly what it sounds like.
Impossible - Why even add an end flag at all? No level should ever be anywhere close to this.

(also justifying why i think that EDC is difficult - you may not be good at wall climbing but you seem to excel at really precise 1-block wide gaps, which i am abysmal at
so even though it looks reasonable for your skillset, for me it is practically impossible)

Baby: Practically an auto level.
Easy: Anyone who knows the basics of Appel can play this. Often gimmick or joke levels.
Medium: A challenge for beginners. A bit tricky at most.
Hard: Usually rather long but fun. One of my best levels, Facility 49, is of this difficulty.
Harder: Harder than Hard. Self-explanatory.
Insane: Rather difficult. Probably requires decent knowledge of Appel.
Insane EX: Even harder than Insane. A bit too short to be Extreme, though.
Extreme: Only my hardest levels are of this difficulty.
Xtreme: The hardest difficulty… or is it?

My Ranking System: Baby, Easy, Medium, Hard, Harder, Insane, Insane EX, Extreme, Xtreme
Baby: Practically an auto level.
Easy: Anyone who knows the basics of Appel can play this. Often gimmick or joke levels.
Medium: A challenge for beginners. A bit tricky at most.
Hard: Usually rather long but fun. One of my best levels, Facility 49, is of this difficulty.
Harder: Harder than Hard. Self-explanatory.
Insane: Rather difficult. Probably requires decent knowledge of Appel.
Insane EX: Even harder than Insane. A bit too short to be Extreme, though.
Extreme: Only my hardest levels are of this difficulty.
Xtreme: The hardest difficulty… or is it?

1. i dont play levels often
2. i suck a lot, meaning replays have lots of deaths
3. i dislike replaying for a decent run (very difficult), that's what other players on this forum are for
4. sometimes when i dont enjoy a level or am not in the mood for appel, i just dont play the level at all
also ITS EDC BUT NERFED

Super easy - Literally no dangers whatsoever.
Baby - You don't need to know how to play Appel to beat this.
Easy - Anyone with a little bit of platforming skills can beat this.
Casual - Maybe a few more spikes, but still easy.
Meh - Basically Easy but longer.
Medium - Might take a bit longer, you might die a few times…
Hard - A more challenging but still fun level.
Very Hard - Now we're wading into pretty difficult waters. You're gonna need to put in some practice for this…
Extremely Hard - Lots of spikes, longer, fewer checkpoints, ouch…
Violent - Only very experienced Appel players can beat this.
Punishing - And only the best of THEM can proceed from here…
Insanity - Welp, we're dead. Try asking the Appel Gods for help.
Insanity+ - Nope, it's beyond the grasps of even the Appel Gods.
Insanity++ - Forget it. Go hide in your bunker.
Nightmarish - No chance. This is for the dedicated only. 0_0
Hellish - Why are we still here… just to suffer….
Critical - Only bloody-minded people would ever want to create a level of this difficulty, let alone BEAT one…
Hypercritical - And only complete SOCIOPATHS would make one like THIS…
Unfathomable - Exactly what it sounds like.
Impossible - Why even add an end flag at all? No level should ever be anywhere close to this.
