Add noobs to scratch
No support.
1) I do not see why you want a “Noob” status when “New Scratchers” already exist. And if you mean that the profile picture of a person with a Noob status would be a ROBLOX noob, that would be copyright infringement. It is only the members of Scratch that can take advantage of Fair Use, but not the ST. If you take a look at the Scratch Wiki, Scratch is already having some trouble with Fair Use itself since German copyright is not a member of it.
2) A lot of people think that “Noob” is a bad term, and even I only realised it is a mere joke after sticking with the internet for a while. This means that this suggestion could offend a lot of people, which is not great because no one wants a lot of newbies to leave just because of a mere word.

I wasn't joking, people should turn they thing to noob to tell others they need help with somethingThen in that case, this should be reported for spam. You know, I think it was pretty obvious this guy was just joking.

what.
Lots of people make good projects, but they get ignored! You should check out a random project made by a random Scratcher when you aren't busy!

Like @NilsTheBest said, wouldn't it just be easier to ask for help in the forums, instead of changing your entire status and profile image? If you need help with something, just ask on the forums, like Help with Scripts or Questions about ScratchI wasn't joking, people should turn they thing to noob to tell others they need help with somethingThen in that case, this should be reported for spam. Yo, I'm having flashbacks to the “noob tests” people would build on an MMO I used to play.
If you didn't have a Jetpack or Wings, you couldn't pass the noob test and all the people who had a lot of bling would just tomato you

Noob is the same as new scratcher, but more disrespectful.
No support.
Roblox is not scratch. There's already the “New Scratcher” and “Scratcher” ranks.
(basically “noob” and “pro,” if you want my opinion)
I don't think it should change your profile picture automatically. What would a “noob” picture be, anyway?

I got a lot of compliments on my last signature, and I think that's kind of strange. I wrote it when I was 12 and it wasn't very good. I acted like PS4 controllers were the epitome of human technology, for God's sake! I tried too hard to be philosophical, or maybe I tried too hard to be funny, or maybe it was something else. But that signature was bad. It wasn't good. It might be strange for some of you to hear this, seeing as this site is full of kids, but 12-year-old me was practically a baby. I think that's something you realise when you grow up. That you're always better than you were last year. I was looking through old Skype messages between me and a friend of mine from when we were 12, and as I read them, I couldn't stop thinking, “Woah. I was the worst.” It's important to know that you're always the worst. I can almost guarantee that future you is thinking negatively of you right now, just as future me is thinking negatively of me. It's important not to let that get to you. Remember to stay in the present. Tomorrow hates you, but it can't hurt you because you'll never get to tomorrow. When I was 10 or 11, I remember seeing the world very cynically. I thought that human life was inherently selfish, and that we were only put on this planet to destroy it. I'm so glad 10 or 11 year old me is gone, because 17 year old me would NOT get along with that kid.

No support. Just because a scratcher is new, it doesn’t mean he is unexperienced. Furthermore, the term “noob” seems really rude and it is used by people that think they are pros, although they may be not.
What do you think about this game?

If you want noobs on a games programming website why not just use Roblox and the Roblox Forums, they provide everything Scratch does (plus the ability to earn money and monetise content) Noob is the same as new scratcher, but more disrespectful.Roblox is not scratch. There's already the “New Scratcher” and “Scratcher” ranks.

I think I found out that you can't add new ranks? Hmmm…
No support anyway, calling people “noobs” at things is very rude.
7.2 Add a rank above Scratcher or remove the New Scratcher statusEdit: Ninja'd. This is removing the New Scratcher status or Adding a rank above scratcher.
There are three ranks: New Scratcher, Scratcher, and Scratch Team. The only reason the New Scratcher rank exists is to prevent spam, and since it only takes two weeks to become a Scratcher, bullying and separation is rather minimal. Similarly, the Scratch Team rank exists so users know who is on the Scratch Team; generally, Scratch Team members do not brag about the Scratch Team rank. In contrast, there may be division in the community between Scratchers and those with a higher rank, which could also lead to bragging and bullying.
Although the restrictions for New Scratchers may seem annoying, they are extremely effective against spam and inappropriate content. For New Scratchers who are wondering how to become a Scratcher or what it means to be one, check out this post. The Scratch Team will not allow any accounts to “skip” the New Scratcher status, even if it is an alternate account of an existing account.
No support anyway, calling people “noobs” at things is very rude.

Not necessarily; the owner of the post is talking about a rank below New Scratcher, and the rejected suggestion is a rank above Scratcher.
EDIT: 250th post!!!
EDIT 2: Fixed two minor typos.

I edited my post, so you don't have to worry. Not necessarily; the owner of the post is talking about a tank below New Scratcher, and the rejected suggestion is a rack above Scratcher.

Given that a number of people consider the term disrespectful, we won't be going with this suggestion. Please continue to think about things that would improve Scratch.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.
