My sprite won't backpack!

My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 11647.154.0, Chrome 73.0.3683.114, No Flash version detected

Here I am, once again with a problem in the discussion forums. My sprite will not backpack. It keeps saying “error loading backpack” and I do it again and it won't work! How do I fix this?My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 11647.154.0, Chrome 73.0.3683.114, No Flash version detected

This happens to me, too. It must be because Scratch 3.0 is a dumpster fire.

I have this issue too, i can't backpack large sprites.
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 74.0.3729.108, No Flash version detected

My sprite won't backpack!

I'm having this issue as well, looks like it still hasn't been fixed after several months. I've tried using other browsers as well with no luck. The only difference is that on Firefox it gets stuck on the “Loading backpack” message, and on Chrome it says “Error loading backpack”

My browser / operating system: Windows 7, Firefox 64.0, Flash 31.0 (release 0)
I've been on hiatus for my entire life.

Maybe you have slow upload speed. Or the sprite is too big to import to the server.

I can't download songs and stuff, but I do have an instant download speed.

This is one that is definitely still open as I'm forever coming across it. I've observed one definite cause - if the sprite has no costumes defined (i.e. if it has only the one costume and that costume is completely blank as at sprite creation time).

To workaround this particular cause, simply add a single dot to the sprite's costume and it can then be backpacked.

Scratch dabbling for fun…
