I'm not good at vector at all, so if I'm gonna be the artist I cannot do vector artwork. I hope you're okay with this….my Bitmap stuff usually turns amazing tho.

scratch bit map resolotion is 640 by 480 pixles which is I'm not good at vector at all, so if I'm gonna be the artist I cannot do vector artwork. I hope you're okay with this….my Bitmap stuff usually turns amazing tho.VGA. I have (translation I have looted, from my parents who were going to THROW IT AWAY *aghast face* (sorry I get a bit carried away sometimes when people propose throwing computers away (as I do with brackets))) a computer with a VGA display so yeah I'm cool with it.

the difference is that bitmap uses a pixel system, while in vector, picture the computer drawing it with pen blocksDo bitmap then, I don't really understand the difference and if that's what you are good at, do it I'm not good at vector at all, so if I'm gonna be the artist I cannot do vector artwork. So like is the dialogue gonna be kinda like Undertale's/ Clah Of heores' dialogue? Like with the boxes and the character come up at the side and the little bleepy noise happens?

Yeah, sort of. It will have the text boxes with long text in them and when they are opened, there will be a short voice recording like ‘hello’ or ‘greetings, stranger’. A combination of spoken recordings and written text that should work. They have that kind of thing in World of Warcraft and that game is quite popular over here (UK) but I don't know about over there (Christmas Island) So like is the dialogue gonna be kinda like Undertale's/ Clah Of heores' dialogue? I'm afraid scratch has screwed up the links in this comment. Please could we move to using a different method of communicating.
P.S. i have made a youtube playlist but am unable to link to it as scratch (as mentioned above) decided to screw up the links.

Everyone - think of a way to make a chunk loader so we don't load the whole game at once. This will be hard but will seriously reduce lag. (gt22's base is laggy and that's just a base, we're gonna have so much more and without a chunk loader we'll have a ton of lag)If a chunk loader keep chunks of things permanently loaded (updating) within a certain distance from its position then everything outside that distance is unloaded (not updating). The best way of doing this in my opinion is to program a stamp or clone list renderer (render distance = chunk loader). The size of the list itself doesn't create a lot of lag, it's the amount of list items that you add, change, or remove per frame and this is limitable with the render distance. The easiest way is for sprites to not do anything unless their position allows them to be shown on screen (conditional).
