help when i try to make a variable the cloud buttons not there!

That is because cloud data is not released yet, the Scratch Team is working on fixing it.

There is a magical faraway place called Announcements. Fortunately for you, it is in the Forums. Take a quick look around. The promised Cloud Variables will be back soon. I hope.
