If he's using Opera, that's literally what I use, and it's a standard feature for all versions. (I sometimes have the Yakuza Friday Night scene as mine or sometimes babey Franziska. :3)

Youtube -> The First Turnabout (on YT until a month after the AJ trilogy release) -> website that converts YT to MP4 -> download as 280p MP4 (for spacial reasons) -> CloudConvert to GIF -> Set image to New Tab Page theme

Haven't played any fangames (unless you count Maya Fey's Borgar Eating Simulator, which doesn't really count) but I've been wanting to play Trials After Justice (in between JfA and T&T) and Turnabout Substitution (a case 5 for AJ)

I have quite a few favourites, but my main one at the moment is Mia. I think she's really cool (and criminally underrated, because most people look at her and just see her appearance, assume she's the local fanservice, and dismiss her.)
I also like Gumshoe, he was my first favourite so I have a soft spot for him.
I like Godot as well, and Larry Butz, and Kristoph Gavin.
I have a love/hate relationship with Edgeworth that entirely depends on which game I'm playing and how much sussy fanart of WrightWorth I had seen that day XDDD
