My parents will never let me download that. make a scratch extension?

Scratch Extension
In theory all you need is a text editor and a way to load the extension into a copy of scratch-vm, preferably without having to download anything.
Turbowarp has a custom extension feature that allows you to upload a .js file to use as an extension, so it's certainly possible.
Now, that doesn't mean it's a good idea to develop a (especially large) extension on a mobile device, and I would advise against trying to do so on a phone due to the fact that you will probably wind up with like 500 syntax and reference errors resulting in you mistyping the code for the extension.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and a wireless keyboard and mouse. (I've had my tab a8 for almost 2 years and it's still in good condition! ) In theory all you need is a text editor and a way to load the extension into a copy of scratch-vm, preferably without having to download anything.

I'm only 8 years old tho. In theory all you need is a text editor and a way to load the extension into a copy of scratch-vm, preferably without having to download anything.

I meant on a phone using only the onscreen keyboard.I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 and a wireless keyboard and mouse. Wireless (or wired) physical, external keyboards are fine- the main issue is that the onscreen keyboard on most phones is so small that is can be hard to type anything correctly, and autocorrect doesn't help when programming anything.

I'm not gonna quote because that's a big mess up there, but I've done limited text-based programming on my phone. Although, it was a nightmare. I prefer Scratch for mobile coding which is why I'm here right now.
You need a good online text editor, and Turbowarp. Ideally, you'd have a server to save to so that you just reload Turbowarp, but you can do without.
It also helps to have one of a few browsers that supports split screen, if you can read that small.
I strongly recommend a physical keyboard, although it's possible without.

I make awesome stuff in Python, Scratch, and PHP. If I'm feeling patient, I create decent stuff in C/C++. I create awesome stuff in Minecraft, but I don't care about making it look cool.
I don't mind if you post off-topic replies on my profile, but please don't post links to posts you think I missed. I follow every topic I post in, and I'm often too busy to be on Scratch.
I used to have the 9000th post on TOLORS.
My first post was an accident
