add a way to let people choose if they want their project to be remixable and by default have it on because you currently have to have it on (or else many projects will become unremixable)

This suggestion extends to “extremely minor remixes,” such as a remix of a game that gives you 2 points per second instead of 1. As long as the user explains what they changed about the project and gives proper credit, this is okay.

However, a feature that prevents unchanged remixes from being shared is NOT rejected. You can discuss it on this topic.

why would the team reject it when it's allowed on other platforms

Because Scratch isn't other platforms.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.

I was a Scratch Team member from May 10th 2019 to October 29th 2021. I reached 20,000 forum posts on June 24th 2024.
