The idea is that there would be a block:

show link to [scratch.mit.edu/users/ScratchCat] and wait::control

The block would show a link to the specified URL, but only if it was a scratch.mit.edu link. It would also wait for user input so that one couldn't spam it in a forever loop and have the user’s web browser keep making new tabs. It could be used to give credit in the project and have links to the people who made certain parts of the project, or be used in a game where the levels were separate projects, or be used to link to a forum topic with save codes for the game.
example usage:

when I receive [Credits v]
say [This is a person I got some scripts from:]
show link to [scratch.mit.edu/users/griffpatch] and wait::control
say [Part 2 out now!]
show link to [scratch.mit.edu/projects/12312312] and wait::control
say []

when I receive [Instructions v]
say [For video instructions, click this link:]
show link to [/discuss/youtube/dQw4w9WgXcQ]::control//The domain name is not necessary, as only links to Scratch webpages are allowed.
say []

EDIT: I accidentally pressed the submit button early, oops
EDIT 2: it would also work similar to an ask block
edit 3: example change+it would be in control because it links to another project and technically “control” the program execution
