If you mean on the forums, there is no off topic category. The forums try to be organized, which is why there's the different sections. If you go to the discussion home next to each of the “sections” there's a quick description about what each of them are for. If you have any more questions, though, feel free to ask!

Hello! My favorite book series are Percy Jackson, The Unwanteds, and Keeper of the Lost Cities! I've read all of the books. I like the forums, and I'm working on a game about time travel called Time Warp: Guardians of History.

I also really like listening to music. Conan Gray's one of my favorite artists, and there's a bunch of other ones I love too!

There was a Miscellaneous forum back in Scratch 1.x, but it was removed as part of a restructuring in 2012 as it was too disorganized to moderate effectively.

To replace it, two new forums were added: Things I'm Making and Creating, and Things I'm Reading and Playing. These were created to bring some order to the chaos, while still providing a space for Scratchers to discuss their interests outside of Scratch.

Fun fact: this same restructuring also created the Help with Scripts forum!
