You can still ask, they just don't have to do it.That only works in Europe, to my knowledge. The original poster seems to be American. You can make a GDPR request (through Contact Us) asking for a copy for all of your user data. This will include a big file including all the comments you've ever written on projects (including the ID of the project, so you can go back and see the project online, if it's still shared).
Generation 4: the first time you see this copy and paste it on top of your sig in the scratch forums and increase generation by 1. Social experiment.

The GDPR practically applies everywhere, as far as we're aware. It is the biggest reason you can go on just about any social media website and choose to backup all of your account data now—no matter where you live. You can still ask, they just don't have to do it.That only works in Europe, to my knowledge. I'm Canadian, so a quote from uh… this Canadian website…
The GDPR applies to all companies that process and hold the personal data of people living in the EU, no matter where the company is located. Canadian organizations need to abide by this regulation if they sell goods or services to or monitor the behaviour of individuals in the EU.
But yeah, even so, I don't know that the Scratch Team is required to provide your data if your country is not part of the EU. Just that they did provide ours (we're Canadian) and most sites do provide everyone's.
