one thing I hate about school accounts on google is that it doesn’t show you’re logged in but you secretly are it infuriates me when I try to access something and it says “OH WELL YOU ARE LOGGED INTO *school account*”

And this is the main reason why when I'm doing my homework I don't sign into Chrome (it's on a Chromebook, otherwise I would just avoid this problem altogether by using Firefox) with my school Google account. one thing I hate about school accounts on google is that it doesn’t show you’re logged in but you secretly are it infuriates me when I try to access something and it says “OH WELL YOU ARE LOGGED INTO *school account*”

This just happened a few hours ago:
One of the desktops in a classroom had a reeeallly botched install of some firewall. There's a network firewall, but also one installed on the desktops (that means they're more strict) which was blocking almost everything, including the entirety of google.com and its subdomains, and even the “this page is blocked” page itself! (the text would load, but no images or css)

To clarify, the botched firewall was causing google to be blocked? This just happened a few hours ago:

If you can submit a ticket (or another way of complaining to your IT department), please do. This just happened a few hours ago:

If you can't submit a ticket, but know someone who can (usually a teacher), get them to submit one.

I'll just say some things about my school's computers.
1. Each student's default password is
2. I think cmd is disabled but windows powershell isn't.
3. Despite trying to block most online games google classroom's online games aren't blocked (even though they should be by IT's standards).
4. You can still install software onto the computers for some reason, I know this because I did install The Powder Toy onto a few computers and it's still installed.
5. For me on school computers, most websites (including google.com) are blocked, researching stuff is annoying and often impossible without others.
