Ability to disable links in comments
The option to disable other people from sending links in your project's comment section. Applies individually and can be changed for every project (so that advertisement projects can still work) Would be VERY useful to keep out advertisements.

Nah - report the ones you think are disrespectful.
We don't need to start controlling people this way, this could potentially interfere with constructive criticism - if you're this worried, delete the ones you don't like or (gasp) close comments?!

I don't understand how disabling one's ability to send a link “interferes with constructive criticism.”
Also, closing comments also severely interferes with constructive criticism. Not only can you not send links, you can't comment at all.
I don't understand how “(insert link here) pls play” is constructive criticism–or criticism at all.

But there's no point in restriction - people may want to link to other projects for legitimate reasons (constructive criticism as in "do what they did maybe? [link]")
also just no pros to this other than getting like one less ad.

Deleting an advertisement comment is simple and efficient whenever there is just a few – However, on a regular featured project I can only scroll about 1-2 comments before seeing an advertisement. Scrolling through and deleting each one would just be unnecessary and extra work that can be made easier.
Perhaps only allow disabling links on featured projects?
And if you really do want to send them a link so badly, you could always just go to their profile.

(#5)I mean, I get your suggestion, but I just think that more control is a bad thing - I think we want less filtering. Believe me, this will make people mad - people hate the filter as it is - we don't need more restrictions, thought they may be optional. But there's no point in restriction - people may want to link to other projects for legitimate reasons (constructive criticism as in "do what they did maybe? Maybe instead of an option that affects everyone we could simply have an option for people to hide comments with links in them? This would be an option that only affects whoever doesn't want to see links and would be much less controlling, instead of affecting everyone who sees the project.
Basically – You could toggle an option in the comments section that would hide comments with links in them, but it'd only do it for you and whoever else uses the option.

(#7)I do like that idea better - as long as it's not enabled as “hidden” by default.(#5)I mean, I get your suggestion, but I just think that more control is a bad thing - I think we want less filtering. A signature is a small piece of text that is attached to your posts. In it, you can enter just about anything you like. Perhaps you would like to enter your favourite quote or your star sign. It's up to you! In your signature you can use BBCode if it is allowed in this particular forum. You can see the features that are allowed/enabled listed below whenever you edit your signature.
