I know everyone and their mother will probably pick one of the last case culprits from the Trilogy, but in all honesty, my favorite is probably Roger Retinz (AKA The Real Mr. Reus) from Spirit of Justice. I'm a sucker for characters whose role as the killer seems very obvious, but turn out to have shocking motives you'd never expect. He's clever, powerful, and most importantly petty as can be. Not to mention his animations and theme music are amazing. There's actually an extended version of the Mr. Reus theme out there somewhere that has a climactic outro and everything, very cool.

Also, man's got the best breakdown so far, I will die on this hill.

Yeah, he's such an insane villain, might honestly be a contender for the most evil character in the series but there's definately competition. I find it facinating how he starts out so unlikable and annoying, but he gets worse and worse and worse as the case goes on and by the end he's basically completely insane. He killed the one person who looked up to him to get revenge on the decendant of the people who wronged him, at least in his eyes, and shows absolutely no remorse whatsoever. Even in his breakdown he claims he did nothing wrong, it's insane. And yeah, his breakdown is absolutely fantastic. I love the Rues face coming out of his cape instead of Trucy's, I like to think that represents his crime haunting him forever and preventing him from his revenge. He's great.

But by that logic, you could consider a sandwich as several distinct foods, as the ingredients aren't mixed, just stacked.

However in the case of PBJ, the bread is still separate from the peanut butter and jam.
As for the beans on toast question, beans are considered proteins and toast is bread, which is a carb, therefore beans on toast are a valuable source of energy that also tastes good. I also could make the argument that peanuts shouldn't be ground up and mixed with oil to make peanut butter. Just because something seems unusual or strange does not make it necessarily a bad meal

The original question asks whether Beans on Toast is a real food, to which I say if we are discussing the concept of reality, then we're going to have to get philosophical with this and bring up Decarte and Plato's theory of forms.
However if we are going off of whether it should be a real food, it does check a number of criteria to be considered a food.
1. It contains nutrients (see my earlier point on protein and carbs)
2. It is not harmful for humans to consume
3. Many people eat and enjoy it (mostly in England)

It was great. Really confusing and frustrating at times, but I still loved it.
