Is anyone into mild or cartoony horror games? I wanted to make a dedicated topic based on one of my favorite games in the Mario franchise.

Introducing the very unsettling and obscure game that was made for Luigi's anniversary, Luigi's Mansion. A quirky, and scary series of the ghost vacumm sucking hero who stops King Boo and saves his friends from that fiend's illusions.

Back when the game was in development for the GameCube, the devs were struggling somewhat with how the game will look like, and when they got over that issue, the game looked beautiful. Then after that, they remade the GameCube original for the Nintendo 3DS when Halloween came around.

Then soon after, the devs at Nintendo were thinking about how they were going to move the series forward, therefore, they decided to make a sequel to continue the story.

Coming around with Luigi's Mansion 2 (Referred as Dark Moon on the 3DS), a beloved but also hated, known sequel with extra quirkiness, and a cartoonish theme, and tech savy gadgets, along with spooky vibes back from the original.

And last but not least, a beautiful but with a dash of spookiness and with a top of errie and liminal vibes, (most beloved for it's amazing graphics) Luigi's Mansion 3, and as we all know and love it for it's stunning visuals, it's the third installment in the whole series, introducing a spooky hotel, once was a peaceful and relaxing one, the portraits ghosts making a big return, taking the ghost hunting to the next level.

Since you are staying, why not treat yourself to some ghost hunting and combatical fun? It's going to be wild!

Guessing not all are that big of a fan of the sequel, then.

I've never played it. Cool that they remade the second one though. Why couldn't they just make a new one? I'm asking the same question with Paper Mario…

That's the same thought that I had about the next title for the series (I secretly predicted and hoped that Dark Moon would be remade or ported for Switch, and turns out that I was partially correct). Maybe they're saving the next title for the successor of Switch.

I added more to the description and Luigi's Mansion 3, and made a few changes.

I somehow just grew up with Dark Moon tbh. Not like the GameCube original was bad or anything, but I just couldn't own a GC at the time.

The 3DS got a remake of the GC original, so now I love playing both!

Made updates to banner. The last one didn't go so smoothly as I expected.
