daily #2, letter to future self
Dear future me:
How did co-leading go? Was the storyline successful?
Did you pass Geography? Please tell me you did. How were your grades?
Goals for this month: have a decent daily streak and complete all weeklies… Also, don’t fall behind on the Bible reading plan and advance with Club activities. And I know it sounds silly but how long is your brushing your teeth streak?
Another goal is getting good sleep. I hope I can go to bed at 10:30 today! I think my sleep schedule is better than last year.
And how did running everyday go? Right now I'm currently in the laziness stage, but that's because of how late I sleep so I prefer to stay in bed until 6. In theory, tomorrow (July 2) I'll exercise and get 7 hours of sleep if I wake up at 5:30.
Ooooh, you've had winter break by now, how did it go? Did you end up binge-watching TV shows with your friends in sleepovers?
And how did the acrobatics presentation go? It's just a week away and I'm a bit worried.
Do you still have a crush on the same guy? I doubt you have moved on haha.
Anyways, hope you're doing great.

2. Chuey's letter to herself | 250 words
Dear future self,
I hope you've decided on an idea for that book. That's your goal, you know. That and hitting the word goal. Kinda funny how you ended up with the (almost) highest one in your cabin, huh? You'll need to write about 1300 words a day to hit it, but I'm not worried. You've written more.
Don't worry too much about writing, though. Spend some time doing whatever you want.
How's your art? Still working on it? You've come a long way, even if it feels slow. Keep scribbling–I believe in you. Writing might be your passion, but you've fought for your art. Don't give that up.
Thinking about that has made me wonder, though. Have you gotten complacent in your writing? Tempted to sit back and enjoy what you've already done? Don't overwork yourself, but try pushing a little harder. No one ever climbed higher without an effort, and improvement is always so satisfying. Take note of the world around you. Jot down ideas, dreams, snatches of songs, the soul of a flower nodding in the breeze. Try carrying around a notebook, both sketching and writing what you see. Sharpen your senses, and look for the overlooked. The details are everything.
Remember that one quote you liked? “Don't tell me sky's the limit when there's footprints on the moon”? Reach beyond the sky. Like Buzz said–“To infinity, and beyond.”
The beyond is there, if you look for it.
Yours,
Chuey

Albany's Daily (255 words)
Dear me in the future, I have a few questions to ask myself. First of all, I want to know how much I actually got accomplished, both in the Solarpunk cabin and outside of it. I want to know how much effort I put into writing within the next 3 months and if I got more work done than I usually do. I also want to know why I have so much anxiety when it comes to writing, even when I'm simply typing on a computer. One of the things I noticed about myself is that sometimes I feel very nervous about typing my thoughts out onto a computer, it makes me feel insecure and self-conscious sometimes. I want to ask my future self if he felt nervous when he was trying to convey his thoughts. Anyway, as for my final question, did you feel like you would take SWC again or did it make you feel uncomfortable? One of the things that people with anxiety like me do is they try their hardest to define their comfort zone with the intent of being able to break out of it. I want to know if SWC was able to boost my confidence as an aspiring writer, and if so, that would be very impressive. In other words, I hope that SWC can make me have more faith in myself. That's really my letter to my future self, who I hope is confident enough to write a response which is even longer than what I wrote.

Stormi || 1005 words
Hi everyone! My name is Stormi, I go by she/her pronouns. I'm a rising senior, so I'm entering college application season which is scary. Honestly this is my first time on Scratch in awhile, but I'm trying to get back into writing, and in particular I would love to write another novel. I have done SWC a few times before. I think it's a really awesome program and it's one of my favorite studios on Scatch. I was lucky enough to be able to lead non-fi a few years ago, but I haven't really done it since then, so I'm happy to be back.
My main goal for SWC, which I kind of touched on earlier, is to get back into writing. I used to be really passionate about writing when I was in middle school, and I was really good at it. I even got a short story published and finished two novels (one of which was for NaNoWriMo). It was something I really loved to do as well. Unfortunately at some point I kind of got burnt out on it, and I've had chronic writers block for the past three or four years, so I've barely written anything. I'm really hoping to get back into writing because it's something that is actually really important to me despite me not being able to do it. I'm really excited that I will be attending an actual writing camp in a few weeks, so hopefully that will help me get on track. However I am staffing at a seperate summer camp for the time being, so my activity level might be kind of weird. We are still allowed to use phones and stuff though a decent amount of time so I don't think it will be too much of an issue.
As for my interests, besides reading and writing I'm really into making art, music, and the outdoors. I love doing portraiture and my favorite medium is oil pastel. I have done some dabbling in painting as well. I really just enjoy the process of making things, like zines for example I think are really cool, and I also love how they can combine visual media with written media like poetry a lot of the time.
I also really enjoy music. I'm in marching band and I play keyboard for marching band and flute for concert band, which is kind of funny. I've been playing piano on and off for about four or five years and I think it's really fun, I also play flute for band. I'm honestly not the best player for either one but it's something I really enjoy doing and I think everyone should try to play an instrument. I listen to a lot of music too. I'm especially into twenty one pilots, My Chemical Romance, and Pierce the Veil. I also really love Placebo and I've kind of been revisiting my Neighbourhood phase. If you don't know Placebo you should definitely check them out, they're a really awesome band.
Another thing about me is I really love the outdoors, so skiing, kayaking, camping, all of that stuff. I'm actually a girl in Boy Scouts which I really love! I completed my Eagle Project a little bit ago by building a bench and planting nine fruit trees for a nearby organization. I really love Scouts and it's honestly been one of the best parts of my life, I've met some of my best friends through it and it really has opened me up to a lot of amazing opportunities. I also run track but that's more for the health benefits than for the me actually enjoying it.
I am Catholic so my religion also plays a major part of my life. I always love learning about different peoples viewpoints and perspectives on religion and it is something I love to talk about. I got confirmed last year and my patron saint is St. Damien. I picked him because he went over to a leper colony and helped them both spiritually and physically, which was something not many other people were willing to do. He ended up d/1ng from leprosy, but I do find his bravery and his courage to do something no one else wanted to do inspiring and I hope it's something I am able to apply to my love.
I don't have one specific favorite book but there are a lot of books I enjoy. A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini is the first to come to mind though. I read the Kite Runner first and I loved it (I actually got to see the play for that earlier this year!) and then I read A Thousand Splendid Suns afterwards and it was sooo good. It's a book I think everyone should read, it's definitely for more mature audiences though. I also really love The Road by Cormac McCarthy, but that ones also really dark (probably the second darkest book I've ever read… first darkest would be a book my teacher made us read for English class called Native Son which was just…. crazy.) Perks of Being a Wallflower is another good choice.
Finally I'm a huge history nerd. I got to take AP United States History this year and it was a super awesome fun class! Honestly a lot of people are scared of that class but if you have a good teacher at your school teaching it you should definitely take it, it's a lot of fun. A silly little thing about me is I really love Calvin Coolidge and I actually run a Calvin Coolidge fan account. My dream is to one day own a Calvin Coolidge cardboard cutout. It will happen one day.
I also have three cats and two dogs and I love them all very much I really love all forms of animals but especially cats and elephants. They really make me happy.
Lastly for jokes… why did the Genie get mad?
Because he was rubbed the wrong way.

july 2nd daily!!
Dear future Moss,
I hope you had a great month! I've been looking forward to July basically since last July ended, and I hope it lives up to our expectations. Finally having a lot of free time should be nice—it'll be great to be able to get more writing and art done than I could have accomplished during the school year!
Here are my main three goals for this month:
-Complete at least half of the dailies and weeklies: it has unfortunately been quite a while since I did SWC activities—I don't think I did more than one or two dailies last session, and the last weekly I completed was last July. I'm definitely going to get back into it this session!
-Write a short story of at least 500 words in a different genre every two days: stealing this idea from Zai (thank you!!), it seems like a great challenge!
-Make it through my second dual enrollment class: it doesn't end quiteee at the end of July (one more week), but close enough that I can make it a goal! I'm hoping to finish my final project by the end of the month so that I can submit it early and get feedback in advance of the end of class.
Good luck with everything! I hope I can do all of these things, but also remember to take some time to relax <3
Sincerely,
Moss

july 2nd daily!!! (posted on behalf of my alt, @maddie-mangoes, as it is still a new scratcher!)
Dear future self,
Hi Mads! You just joined Folklore Cabin on your first session of SWC yesterday, and it’s already been action-packed, and so many friends made! Hope you’ve made a lot more friends.
I know you’re going to a range sh00t later this week, with air cadets, and you’re catching up with all of your best friends in the school holidays. Did you end up catching up with Emily? Lake? Cody? Ollie? Alex? Was the plane museum fun?
I’m so excited for this session in Folklore, and I hope that once you reach the end of the month you’ll still feel the same and even more excited to come back again for another sesh, when SWC runs it again!
While you were writing this, you were listening to folklore by Taylor Swift (hahaha funny, def not planned  ) what are you listening to rn? What’s the number 1 song for you? Is it still 6ft Nothing by Jenna Davis? Or is it something else?
Remember to keep in touch with the friends you’ve made, the laughs you’ve had, the fun you’ve had, and most importantly, had the greatest time writing and posting!
Lots of love, Mads <3

Dear future self,
Hello. Do you enjoy SWC? Did you reach your word goal yet? I know I’ll never be able to look at your answers on my day: July 1st 2024 (my time zone hasn’t changed to the next day yet). I honestly don’t have anything to ask you. I hope you have reached my goal of completing a novel. It might seem impossible but if you really try and work on it, you’ll do it. Remember the quote: “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible!’ -Audrey Hepburn. I hope you had a great month. I need to be more cheerful, this seems too formal. Anyways, I think I’m going to go now (I was going to say puke, but I don’t think I am going to). I have HIGH expectations for the summer.
SUMMER GOALS
- Finish writing a novel
- Finish Harry Potter series
- Have fun!
- Talk with your friends everyday if you can
- Have fun at summer camps
That’s all my goals. I haven’t quite reached 200 words so I’m just gonna talk aimlessly. Blah blah blah have fun blah blah blah bloo
Me like stuff and tech and have fun yay cool awesome bye Hahahahahaha hhehehehehehe
Peace,
Wynter

Daily 1: 1k Intro
word count - 1074 words
I've never had the motivation to complete these 1k intros in my 5 sessions (now sixth!) of SWC - I always end up not wanting to do it the first day, and never end up completing it as the session progresses! However, this July, I want to set a lot of firsts <3 I want this to be a time in my life where I can reflect on what's happened thus far, and set new goals to continue to come the best version of myself. This is definitely no easy task as I've come to realize, and simply saying that I'm going to do “stuff” is not enough. With that in mind, I made it a point to start this session by completing this challenge, not only to prove to myself that I can do it, but to also use this as motivation to push myself to break other barriers in mindset in my life <3 Now with 47 minutes left to finish, here's to making it in on time ;D
With that out of the way, hi everyone! My name is Alana (she/her), and I'm leading Bi-Fi alongside my amazing co's, Pepper and Summer. I can't believe how fast time has gone by, yet that being said, this is officially my 6th session! My other's being: Naan-fi (led by Birdi, Sophie, and Dasiy), Non-Fi Fossil Dig, Myth: War Between Two, Script Misfits, and Trapped in a Fairytale! Leading has definitely been an experience like no other, and each session it brings me so much joy to meet my campers and create lasting memories <3 I feel like every cabin I've led has had a different storyline approach, whether being open-ended, more intricate, or anywhere in between XD Being able to work behind the scenes and create magic for others to enjoy is like a dream come true and I hope to continue to do that this session!
Now onto some of my hobbies! I think it goes without saying that dance is practically my life and soul. I started learning at the age of 3, and well, that's a really long time ahah XD My teacher's house is like a second family to me, and she really knows how to motivate me. Currently, I prepping for a 2 hour solo show, which is both exciting and nerve-wrecking ^^ It's definitely going to change certain dynamics in my life as I start comitting to other things to manage my time more efficiently. I feel like the reason I'm so close to dance is simply the fact that it's been there for me through all the highs and lows life has thrown at me. When I was practically bedridden for 2 - 3 months, I felt the absence of dance hit me hard, and I never want to feel that again <3
Aside from dance, I'm really into music! I've been playing the piano for quite some time, and I'm hoping to create some covers this summer <3 Aside from piano, I'm really into percussion - I play the drum kit as well as a traditional drum with ties to my culture ^^ I'm also apart of a band and this summer is packed with performances, so I'm greatly looking forward to that! Along with these, I've also tried singing but that never actually ended up working out..maybe a project to work on for the future? Who knows ;D
Now let's move right into summer plans! July is a pretty busy month - I'm taking a history course which is always exciting (and I will definitely be ranting about it to Alia ahah <3) and I'm currently planning a picnic for some of our youth committee. I had an idea to have a face painting booth thing at the start of the event - and now I have to teach myself how to do that XD The kits have arrived from Amazon, and I'm probably going to do some design testing on my brother tomorrow (he's all ready for it hehe). I'm really into water coloring and acrylic painting, so hopefully it'll be somewhat similar! If all goes wrong, I have also bought an abudance of stencils to assist my artistic abilities to salvage potential mistakes XD Just looking at the kits it making me excited, you know? I'll definitely be sharing updates as the session progresses!
Hmm.. what else :0 I never knew how hard these intros can be ahh. I feel like I've already talked so much, that there's nothing else to really add. I could perhaps just continue rambling about random things but like- that's what I'm doing anyways! Maybe we can talk about movies now!
I recently watched Inside Out 2 with my friends and oh my gosh- it was absolutely incredible! The way the emotions were potrayed and literally the whole storyline definitely touched my heart <3 I never knew just how much I needed to watch that movie until I did, and I don't regret a thing! Personally, I'm a bit wary to watch sequels of movies that I really enjoyed, just because I'm always worried that the producers will end up ruining it or something. Turns out both Disney and Pixar outdid themselves with this movie, and I can't stop thinking about how well put together the whole plot is! At some point I was going to cry when Joy was supposedly starting to “fade away” but thankfully that isn't what happened <3 (side note: I also loved the relationship between Sadness and Embarrassment AHH).
Ooh ok 915 words! Almost there <3 I'm going to end off by saying that life so far has been one scrambled up ride - a roller coaster with both ups and downs. I never realized just how unpredictable life is, but knowing this, I've started to take life with a new approach <3 I am enough, and I have so much I can improve on as the years go by! I hope to continue to push myself for greater purposes and to live for more!
With that, this is Alana signing off ;D I hope you all have such an amazing session - this community is so welcoming and sweet, and I wouldn't trade it for the world <3 I love you all so much! Thanks for making the past year and a half amazing! Keep shining, and never let your sparkle falter
word count - 1074 words
I've never had the motivation to complete these 1k intros in my 5 sessions (now sixth!) of SWC - I always end up not wanting to do it the first day, and never end up completing it as the session progresses! However, this July, I want to set a lot of firsts <3 I want this to be a time in my life where I can reflect on what's happened thus far, and set new goals to continue to come the best version of myself. This is definitely no easy task as I've come to realize, and simply saying that I'm going to do “stuff” is not enough. With that in mind, I made it a point to start this session by completing this challenge, not only to prove to myself that I can do it, but to also use this as motivation to push myself to break other barriers in mindset in my life <3 Now with 47 minutes left to finish, here's to making it in on time ;D

daily 2 - letter to future self
word count - 209
Dear future Bee,
How’s your July been? I hope you’ve had a great time, both in SWC and outside of it. I hope this session was a great one, and that you’ve been able to make lots of amazing friends, memories, and stories!
Did you enter in the writing competition yet?–at the time that I’m writing this, I still have absolutely no idea what I’m going to write about, but I’m hopeful that you wrote something great! I also hope you reached our word goal for this month (which I set pretty low, to be honest), and that you’ve been keeping up with this session’s dailies and weeklies–we’ve never actually done all four weeklies in a session, but maybe this July will be the one!
SWC aside, I hope our trip ended up being great! It’s less than a week away right now, and I can’t wait! I also hope you’ve managed to get some kind of job–although it is nice writing and grinding minecraft all day (on the subject, I really hope you finished our base on the server!!), it would be nicer to have something to actually do for the next couple months.
Best of luck with everything–I hope you’ve had an amazing time this month!

Dear future Dawn,July 2nd Daily
220 words
I hope you're doing well! Hopefully you found a balance between swc, art fight, and real life. Did we complete all of our goals? Like complete at least three quarters of the dailies and half of the weeklies? What about completing our hitlist? I know that it's quite a task to complete all of our goals, so I hope that you put yourself above them and took care of your health. I can't wait to see all the attacks that we both give and receive. There's a lot of great artists on art fight. And I hope that swc helped us get out of our writing slump. Maybe you even started that novel we're planning ;) Even if you didn't complete any of our goals or start the novel, I just want you to know that I don't care. It's alright! Things happen, we get busy, or we just lose motivation. As long as you take care of yourself and your mental health, then I'm happy. Remember to plan ahead and start writing your thank you notes before the session ends! Maybe write during cabin wars ;) Oh cabin wars is another thing! Hopefully we were able to participate in at least one since we're not currently in any shows.
Love, your past self <3

Daily 2: Letter to Future Self (212 words)
Dear Rockie,
How are you doing? The session is almost over by now, right? How did it go? I hope you pulled off a successful Fantasy cabin and that you’re proud of the work you put into the cabin. No matter how it goes, I hope you know that I’m super proud of you. You’re the best! <3
In terms of writing, did you end up writing some things you were proud of? Did you do a lot of dailies and weeklies? I know I really wanted to outline a novel this session; did that end up happening? I hope so. Just a refresher, some of my goals for this session are:
- Write something good to enter in the writing comp
- Outline a novel
- Enter the mbcce
- Stay on top of things cabin-wise
- Exceed word goal (obviously)
- Meet all of the goals for the cabin (basically, make sure that everything you promise actually happens and everything is successful)
- Chat with people more + get to know campers
I know there’s a lot, but i believe you can do it! <3
Anyways, just remember: whenever you start to feel stressed, take a deep breath and remind yourself how much you are loved. Happy SWC!

Daily: July 2 | Dear Future Self (240 words)
Dear Future Self,
Alas, it is the end of your third Scratch Writing Camp session, and the end of the Non-Fi Parliament! We never really thought that we would be returning to this community, especially after two long years, but I'm sure there's a great reason why.
How is our small business doing? It has been a month since its launch, and you and our friend are probably preparing to launch the next set of products soon. I am ecstatic about that, and I hope you are, too!
How many dailies and weeklies were you able to accomplish? Were you able to form new friendships with fellow writers? Did you start writing the story you had planned weeks prior to the start of July? The word goal I have set for this session may seem quite huge, but I am sure you would be able to reach 20,000 words, even if it is just 75% of it! I remember you were able to reach 16,000 words last time, so let us try reaching for that again!
No matter what happens, I am proud of you. I know that you are going to make the most out of this month and this camp, but please remember to prioritize your health above it all. Trust in yourself and trust in the Lord, and I know that you will be perfectly fine.
Take care, future Rynn! Have fun and God bless you always.

Hello, end-of-the-month self! I'm here to make you do stuff because I want to be an improved version of myself, and so far, progress is slow. So let's get right to it, shall we? First of all, for piano, I want to actually be good at it, I’ve been neglecting it kind of hard this summer, so I wanna be able to play ‘I Love U’, ‘’Just the Two of Us’, and ‘Hedwig’s Theme’ by the end of the month. Here’s to hoping I get that piano stand soon, because it's kinda inconvenient to learn in my bedroom.
For writing, other than doing every SWC daily and weekly, I want to start and finish my OC character profiles, finish writing ‘Thicker than Water’, ‘I AM’, and get to writing Danganronpa: Dead Man’s parade. I was supposed to do these all in June, but as long as I get them done, I’m happy.
With art, I want to do at least a few art fights, but that’s lower priority, finish Fujioka’s splash art, draw at least 3 character illustrations but we’re aiming for more, and then maybe try out animating. Oh and some contests, but I gotta find my apple pencil first, preferably today.
There’s a few other goals that should be easy enough to complete, but I already have them on my summer bucket list. I’m hoping I’m not making this too unrealistic, other than maybe piano, I’m capable of doing all of this, I just gotta manage my time. So yeah, check back in August-Me, and lets hope I did at least most of it. Good luck! You’re gonna need it.

Hey Future Me,
Hope you're doing awesome! Right now, I've got some goals for this month. First off, I want to start meditating and yoga and maybe working on my core every day. Also, I'm determined to finish my novel. I also want to finish my math course. Lastly, I'm aiming to hang out more with family and friends because they're super important to me.
I wonder how you're feeling now. Did I stick with my routine? Did the math course help me learn cool stuff? Are my relationships stronger now? I hope you're still doing things that really matter to you and staying true to who you are. oh and did I get accepted into the youth symphony?
If I could ask you one thing, it would be: are you still living by your values? It's easy to get caught up in stuff and forget what's really important. I hope you're being strong, no matter what.
and how's school going? I know I'm not in school right now, but do tell me how high school goes, I would like to know.
Did I write something everyday? I know I am going to miss a daily somewhere because of the flight, but it's alright. other than that at least?
anyway, bye bye!

Yo, sup. It's your past exhausted and relieved self. You when you just got outta school, and are excited to finally get some things done!
Anyways, down to business…
Have you done the following things:
Make your 8th FPCA. Y'know you wanted to get that done literally months ago. If you haven't done it by now, you have officially wasted time.
The YAB application. By now, it's way overdue. If you don't have it done, you're too late. How unprofessional.
The surprise project that has to do with Kirby. I'm actually really looking forward to doing it. So WHY HAVEN'T YOU STARTED IT YOU LAZY CRITTER!?
Play at least TTYD and some of Dream Team or Partners in Time. You know you have a deadline. That deadline being November. Play those games before the freaking new Mario & Luigi comes out. So, for once I’m telling you, PLAY YOUR GOSH DARN VIDEO GAMES!
Actually reach your word goal. You slacker. Do it for once you good for nothing slob who signs up for everything and does nothing.
Yes, I did write these as if I know you're not gonna get this done. Why? Well, not because I don't think you can get it done, but to motivate you, so you can prove me wrong. Or you can feel the utmost shame a human being could possibly feel if you don't get this stuff done.
Best of luck! See ya in a month!

Now's your chance to find out - write a letter to your end-of-the-month self! Try to include some goals you have for this month, SWC or personal, and any questions you have for yourself in 200 words for 200 points.”

hii future piper!! i hope your swc session was awesome! i also genuinely hope that you’re doing alright, i hope everything’s still going decently at home and that today has been good.
how is james going? was being more on the technical side fun? i hope so, cause honestly i’m having a little bit of fomo since i didn’t audition for this one even though my sisters did… do we still feel like that? i hope not; hopefully it was a least a little bit fun <3
were we able to keep up with our bujo trackers? i think our theme we did this month was cute so i hope we were able to fill everything in so that it isn’t just completely empty haha
did we find an escort for coronation? was (friend) able to do it after all? or is dad going to do it like last year. i hope (friend) was able to, i think he would enjoy it and he’s a fun friend to have there!
one last things before we go onto the swc goals, have we done anything about (crush name)? i kind of hope that we did, but at the same time i kind of already know that the answer is no even as i’m writing this right now.
how did we do with our swc goals? were we able to hit our word goal, or maybe write even more than that? i hope we did; cause that means we probably improved our writing and likely added a bit to our own personal projects. also were we able to check in every day? or did we go inactive again? i really hope we didn’t go inactive, that’s one of the things i really did not want to do this session.
well, that’s about all that i have to talk about! again i hope that you’er doing well, and if you’re not then just remember there are people there for you who love you. talk to (best friend) or if you can’t talk to her, then just take a minute and talk to God; He’s always there.
love you bestie! <3

Topic: write a letter to your end-of-the-month self!
Dear Ava,
This month was July, also short form for Just Under Losing Yourself, because it's grind month! I can't believe we're already halfway through twenty twenty-four. Do you remember the beginning of the year, when you were so sure you would love Mickey Mouse forever, and then he played you ? He really thought he was all that. But let's get down to the entire point of this letter.
This July, I had high hopes for us. We were going to make the best possible of every day, even if that means playing Genshin for more than three hours (which is very unhealthy, by the way. Just a reminder to check your data and view how long you've played that game.) We were going to work out every day, and not skip any daily. This also brings me to an important point- did you reach your 100,000-word goal? Most probably not, but it was worth a shot. How close were you to it?
We were also supposed to write one chapter minimum of our story every day! If we didn't, our readers would probably bite our toes off. Do you still have all ten toes intact? Hopefully, you do. Imagine trying to play football with a part of your foot just missing altogether. Did you manage to finish the entire story, or is it still going? What happened to Miyeol? Is the slow burn still going on? We tend to write with the flow so we barely make plans for a story.
Talking about plans, you still have yet to update the Amulet of Freedom! You've been planning that darned thing since 2022, are you not tired yet? It's the only thing we've planned for so long. We have the entire plot laid out, so can you please start writing it? So far we only have three prologues out. You better have written at least one chapter of it this June. Last but not least, how many poems have you added to your book? Everyone loved the one we wrote self-love.
Wait, I was sort of wrong. That isn't the last one, I have more questions. I can't exactly cut that out, because I'm writing this like I would write a real letter. No take-backsies once it's on paper.
Are you still friends with everyone? Last year you had this dumb fight with Isa and stopped talking for two months straight. Hopefully your friends, online and offline, are still talking to you. Has Divi convinced you to stan Be:First? I swear, she'll be the death of us. She knows we don't have the capacity to stan another brand, but I really can't hate her for it. Who wouldn't try to make their friend like a new band?
Talking about music, have you made any more songs? You keep humming these random weird tunes, so I hope you've written them down on the paper. I know you don't have much confidence in your music anymore, but that doesn't stop you from trying. I know you can do it, no matter what anybody says about your voice or your talent. It's yours, and you know what you can do with it. Wow, it's easy to give advice when you pretend its not yourself you're talking to.
I hope you haven't hurt yourself this month, physically or mentally. Things might be hard but pain is never the solution. Stay away from something that only multiplies your pain.
Literally you,
Ava.

Literally you,
Ava.

Sunny's SWC Writing Thread
July 2nd~
Dear future me,
First and foremost, I hope you (I) are doing well, and that you are not spending too much time online in front of your screen, because as you probably already know, it is very bad for one's eyes. I also hope that you are keeping up the work at school, and that you are always your parent's little angle (okay, that was a joke xD). But in all seriousness, I do hope you are concentrating on studying and not spending 6 hours a day on Scratch for SWC… which is what you might be doing now…
Then I'd like to set a few goals for you (me). First, SWC related things. For this session, if you don't remember, I can only be active for 5 days, then I'll leave for vacation. That is- a pity, but in these short five days, you can do lots of things! ('cause you're alone at home, so you can spend as many hours as you want on Scratch Mwahahahaha! just kidding- you have to control yourself) Enough rambling, let's go on to the things you (I) can actually do for these short five days.
- First, you can do every daily that comes your way, and try to do the weekly in two as well. At least you earn a little tiny bit of points for your cabin, right?
- Then, please please please PLEASE don't spend more than three hours a day in front of your computer, even if it's for writing. Your (My) eyes will thank you.
- Lastly, try to earn enough in cabin points (I forgot what they're called whoops) to get a pfp. Blau is really talented :0
I hope I made things clear and now, submit this daily and sut your computer off! You gotta do homework now!
Yours (mine) truly,
Sunny

Long, long ago, there was once a far away kingdom on the edge of the world. No human ever came there, for it was at the tip of the universe, far, far away from where human technology could reach.
At the beginning of the beginning, this kingdom was a vast land of desert. One would ask, hot desert of cold desert? None and both at the same time. You'd find sand, endless dunes of sand, but you'd also find ice, endless acres of bluish ice. You'd wonder, what caused such a weird landscape? Well here is the answer, which is quite actually simple. Since this kingdom is at the edge of the universe, there are strong winds. These winds blow scraps and bits of sand off their maternal rocks, but at the same time water is blown at such a high speed that it cools down immediately and form snowflakes. These flakes fall on the sand and become ice. In areas where there is less ice, you can see the sand.
A few hundred human years after the beginning of the beginning, the water from the ice melted because of the birth of Sun. The kingdom was covered in a mud like substance for years- a mix of sand and water. Slowly, however, you'd notice that this strange substance, sculpted by the powerful winds, would form various odd shapes here and there.
Another century passes by. Tiny holes begin to form on the wind sculpted mud. These holes are so tiny that only one specific type of air can pass through. That Air was called Bythea, a very rare form of air unseen on Earth and by humans. And it so happened that a cell, a single living cell, lived in each Bythea atom. And in these secure holes, the cells began to develop. They grew bigger, the reproduced quickly.
In the blink of an eye, another century passes by quietly. The tiny holes sculpted by wind, however, were not at all quiet. For the single cells developed rapidly, quickly growing bigger and bigger, until a human eye could distinguish clearly the cell nucleus, which was in a curious shade of bright pink. Now you might wonder how the landscape changed. The mud like substance was no longer mud. Almost all the water had evaporated to Elsewhere, and the wind sculpted shapes remained, as hard as rock. The wind, however, did not rest. It continued to shape the harder rocks, and tiny hole multiplied quickly as well. If you would look closely on a piece of stone, you'd notice unevenness through its surface. These are the legendary holes of Bythea.
A couple hundred years pass again. The cells are bigger than ever. They are still single cell organisms, as human scientists like to call them, but they have already reached the mass of the big, grey things with four legs and big ears humans call as, ‘elephants’. Upon hearing this, you might want to know what caused these cells to develop into so big things?
The answer to this, I cannot tell you.

Music- Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum by Claude Debussy
A little cool stream of water, flowing down from the mountain top. Its water is fresh from the melted snow, clear as a mirror. Getting closer, one would distinguish the round, stone pebbles laying peacefully at the bottom. They were different colours as well, red ones, grey ones, yellow ones, even green ones with a pint of moss on its surface.
The little stream would get bigger with more melted snow, and soon one would be able to hear the faint rippling water as it toppled down the mountain. The fresh tinkling sound of water was like bells announcing the coming of spring, like piano keys dancing joyfully, waking the sleeping winter and its' animals.
Toppling down, down and down, the little stream became a river, a clear and transparent river. Out of nowhere, fish came and swam joyously up and down the river. On the river banks, flowers began blooming, and fresh, soft green grass would emerge, covering the mountain with a soft, green cover.
The sound of the river was louder, it was no longer tinkling, but was laughing dancing. The sound of this peculiar music awakened the hibernating animals, and deer, hare, fox and squirrel came out, hopping here and there, to celebrate together the arrival of Spring.
Now one would hear the light footsteps of animals and their merry chatting. Birds were coming out, too, and they added their sharp but lighthearted songs into the music. The river was smiling at this beautiful seen, it danced and laughed together with the animals.
Finally, after the long run, the panting animals and the big rush of water, came to the opening of a great lake. The lake calmed tall this little chaos down, and with a deep, booming voice and a final, deep note, everything, went back to its orignal peacefulness.

Weekly #1
Part 1:
The full moon hung high up in the sky, its soft, whitish glow illuminating the peaceful night. The sleeping little town was very quiet, and the only sounds were occasional chirping of birds and the soft thud of the little boy's footsteps. The reason for this late excursion was unknown, but we would guess that perhaps he couldn't sleep, or simply he wanted to breathe the fresh, spring air. It was indeed the start of spring. nights were only beginning to get warmer, and a cool breeze rustled through the new, sprouting leaves.
Under the faint glow of the moon, the boy walked at a comfortable pace, taking deep gulps of cool air. The soft breeze caressed his long, dark hair, sending it flying behind his head. On the rosy lips a little grin was visible.
Still walking, the boy entered the little woods on the edge of the town. It was a fairly young forest, and the trees' soft, sprouting leaves gently touched the boy's cheeks.

(the not very well written continuation of Coco's very well written passage)
In the blink of an eye, ten years pass by. The once broken down, destroyed, lifeless and hopeless city was unrecognisable. First, looking on a map, its surface diminished quite a lot. It went from a big, bustling city to a little country side town. The reasons for this was the rapid decreasing of the population following the aftermath of war. The largest number of famished people in history was counted, disease poured over the remaining of the broken down population, and finally lots killed themselves while working. And adding it all up to the massacres in war, only 5% of the original population remained.
The one who contributed most to this change, was a young woman. She didn't exactly look young, her grey hair and rough hands might have been signs of elderly, but for her, those were signs of her hard work and her determination to bring back life as it used to be. That woman, was the leader of the city, the one people looked up to.
One would also see trees and plants starting to grow, birds returning to build nests, and one might even hear the occasional laughter of children. The tall skyscrapers were long gone, but small cottages and individual houses were built, with well managed gardens and beautiful fences. The worst was long gone, and there hope towards the future.
