how so?
A lot of the time, if someone finds out you have Autism, you are likely babies a lot, despite protests.
I say this as someone with high functioning autism

Ableism sucks. But the more you spread awareness eventually Ableism will go down.

My mental disorder has caused me more suffering than anything else in my life combined, and frankly, I'm offended that you want to celebrate it.

Well, I feel honored that people are willing to appreciate others with mental disorders.

There are two things will do:

Stop people from using the puzzle piece ( which help stop ableism as most usages of it are in good faith)
Start people using the infinity symbol (which doesn't spread awareness as there needs to be clarification for what the infinity symbol means, and also how will this help, actions are stronger then words and this won't spread acceptnance or awareness as lemniscate's are not autism specific, if Autism Acceptance studios didn't use the lemniscate they would still have the exact same affect, so i am not sure how using a lemniscate helps autistic people such as myself )

so how will this help?

I am not autistic—However, I will say that I believe the rainbow infinity symbol has been spread enough for a lot of people to know what it means.

if the code for the emoji included something like “_neurodiversity_”, “_ND_” or “_autism_”, then that would provide some explanation. there could also be an explanation in the form of an announcement when the emoji is introduced, or simply usage of the emoji from people like me in the context of neurodiversity acceptance would help spread awareness of what it's for.
symbols can have multiple meanings (like rainbows can be for Pride as well as for other things), which is fine, and the neurodiversity infinity symbol being coloured rainbow or gold and being used by the neurodivergent community helps define it as a symbol.
even if some people used it to mean a general infinity symbol, that wouldn't stop it from being used within the ND community. the goal is to create better access to acceptance and uplifting autistic & ND people's voices, which it would do regardless, because people in the ND community (and allies) would benefit from having the option to use it, and it would be an effort (regardless of how small) from the Scratch Team to demonstrate that neurodiversity matters.

I am so confused, does neurodivergent also count all mental disorders then?? I looked it up and cannot tell since multiple places say different things.

“neurodivergent” includes mental health conditions, yes.
“neurodiversity” refers to all variation in brains, including neurotypical people. “neurodivergent” includes mental health conditions, as to be neurodivergent means to have a brain that deviates in any way from the expected norm.
there are different kinds of neurotypes that fall under the neurodivergent umbrella (eg. neurodevelopmental disabilities like autism, ADHD, dyslexia etc. are different from, say, depression, and chronic/inherited depression would be different from that again.) there is a lot of overlap though.

and I have already clarified, but feel the need to clarify again, autism is not a mental health condition or “mental disorder”. it does not inherently cause suffering.
