That's pretty good! I should mention a couple of things that were in the original song:
By the time the Metroid-ish Melody(TM) kicks in, I add reverb to the instrument to make the echoey sound in the original.
The quieter sound after the… drop? tonal shift? the thing in the middle is meant to be an alarm synth. I would change the synth on that to a more alarm like sound.
The long hold notes on one of the percussion tracks is a white noise track to give the effect of a ship taking off. Could you change it to something kinda like that?
