If you feel that strongly about it, the underlying code is open source, you can add it and then request that your code be merged into the editor on the site.
(comment)So, @codube is basically saying that we need to code it ourselves, and there's only a slight chance of the pull request even getting accepted because it's from the community. This seems to answer our question; the ST isn't working on this themselves and doesn't plan to either. However, we are allowed to work on it ourselves if we like. To me, this seems like a green light to begin development!
Just because a pull request is submitted does not mean that we agree with merging it into the main-line source. Many times fixes that are submitted do not do the fix in a way that is sustainable/workable across many browsers, etc…

Hey, new account? Is this someone who's been talking making a special account? Plus, this might be the end of what I can do to help, if anyone's wondering. I have no idea how to code in whatever they use for Scratch? ???? Why did I use three question marks? Actually now it's four.(#2004)Nice, we're making some progress.Great! We're getting places. I sort of support this, but it could cause some scratchers to need a controller to play certain games. If they made it so that you would need to have keyboard support, then I would FULL support.

(#2012)Makey Makey projects don't require keyboard support; this is the same thing (we already had this discussion)

(#2018)The current title is exclusive to USB Controllers when it should just be Gamepads to include other connection types (because it doesn't matter) and also other gamepad form factors besides controllers (again because it doesn't matter what kind it is)Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with it.Why does the title need fixing?
