I was saying that, unlike the Makey Makey, this extension could not be used without a controller which is relatively uncommon.

True, but controllers are much more common than a Makey Makey.

All extensions need the medium they're using. To use the Makey Makey extension, you need a Makey Makey. To use LEGO, you need a compatible LEGO coding brick. To use this extension, you would need a game controller.

Again, if someone makes a controller-only project, it's their fault for not including the more popular input method. If the project is any good, I'm sure it will have support for both anyway. If not, they are going to have to deal with the hate in their comments from keyboard people, and the keyboard remix that someone makes is going to be way more popular. This is not going to be a problem. And even if it is, swapping out a few hat blocks isn't that much work.

Well… They're just quiet about it. ST members have posted here and said that they don't know the current status of the project. They haven't gotten back to me on my Contact Us email either.

Maybe we could see this update in 4.0, because scratch generally doesn't do suggestions, just rejects them, I haven't seen a single suggestion accepted except the color contrast one, which was from years and years ago

Controllers are much more common than any of the extensions (like the LEGO, Microbit, or Makey Makey).
