If Von Karma shot Gregory Edgeworth in an elevator above a courthouse, technically he was above the law and therefore shouldn't have been punished.

Lojik.

This is actually genius

I just realized it wasn't really above the courthouse but in amongst the rubble and whatever else that fell when the earthquake happened.
Still a scary thought-
Imagine if Von Karma had tried to bring this up in court-
Phoenix probably would have decided to punt him across the atlantic sea. (It's an EO reference)

Almost everyone in the topic's discussion of DL-6:

While we're on the topic of DL-6, anyone else feel like Von Karma wouldn't be that bad a person if he had turned himself in, instead of the cover up? To be fair to him, it was kind of a panic moment, being that he got, hmm, I dunno, shot in the shoulder?

I'm really sick of the idea that he wasn't that bad a person. even in a moment of anger and panic, the man already had the murderous intent, he hated Gregory's guts from the start, and really, most people upon getting a tiny blemish on their record that was full of forgery and evil deeds wouldn't throw a temper tantrum when someone finally calls him out on it or possibly even think about murdering the man that was (indirectly) responsible for it.

Also, I really can't see the entire viewpoint that he took Miles in because he was guilty. He did because he wanted to ruin him and even more so, he was actually afraid of Miles growing up to become a defense attorney the same stature as Gregory.

…I think I've played all of the cases including Von Karma at this point, I know him well. Bro is a major league donut hole.

Idk who the dude on the far left is, but from there I can see:

Raymond Shields.

Robert Hammond.

And Marvin Grossberg.
(Guess a few defense attorneys decided to get together and steal children-)

Also, there's another character in the series that looks like Miles Edgeworth.

Allow me to shoehorn random characters into the Soldier Poet King meme, since that's my current obsession.
Soldier: Pearl
Poet: Maya
King: Mia

Soldier: Edgeworth
Poet: Phoenix
King: They're not a trio, they're a duo of ✧ETERNAL RIVALS✧

Give me some others, I can't brain today, I has the dumb

Well I kept thinking of things that I wanted to say and couldn't stop. Lol sorry

There are actually fans that have completely undemonized everything that Von Karma did, y'know-

It is in fact Q from the hit game Street Fighter III, only on Arcade platforms and Dreamcast.
There was a funni discussion about Q being a clone of Gregory Edgeworth back in the Fictional Crushes (now characters) topic back in 2021, I only just now realized that I could sprite Q to look like Gregory-

So voila, Gregory is now a playable character in SFIII

New discussion!
Which Ace Attorney character would give the best hugs?
I'm debating between Gumshoe and Maya.

Gumshoe. Definitely Gumshoe.
I read this really daft fic where it's literally five pages of Gumshoe trying to be nice and friendly and Edgeworth snarking at him. Then the author got bored and decided to stick Edgeworth in the middle of an earthquake with Gumshoe. They got trapped in a falling building and Gumshoe basically made himself into a human shield fro Edgeworth. They both survived, but there was plenty of whump.
As in, lots of whump.
And a ton of cute Gumsworth moments, which I don't exactly like as a ship, but it's okay

I forgot about him!
He'd probably give amazing hugs though. 8.5/10 hug, would be my guess.
