Hello, I really like your idea!

I assume there would be some toolbars for #2? I reject #3 because this makes the scratch UI worse, because you can’t see multiple projects at once. If you reduce the amount of projects displayed at one time, that increases scrolling, something that can effectively screw the scratch interface.

For #2, I also assume the name is at the top, in big writing. I would go against that, because the title is readable as is. And if it isn’t, just zoom in. Increasing the font of the name also hides other functionality that can be displayed, rather than being blocked off by one unnecessary (in this case, unnecessarily large) element.

For #1, not much changed other than the color and the look and feel, but I would think blue would be better.

I know about web computing very well and I have a comment to Kokasgui. Scratch could change the discussions page but they probably won't do it because something could break after changing it. The looks, their customization are based of Genshi engine. I am not really sure about that, but I researched about it and I think they can't do so much as you expect. I don't blame you, probably you don't know web computing good. They could change fonts, buttons, background, add icons but they probably can't can't change it. Designing it is very complex process, you have to write HTML code, CSS styles one piece at a time and non-expierenced programmer could break everything in pieces and expierenced programmer then would need to work really hard to (probably) fix that. I think, this situation isn't what's can happen or gonna happen on Scratch but I don't think they're ready to do it or they want to do it. Maybe I'm not saying truth about something because I'm not in the Scratch Team and don't have access to Scratch.mit.edu files and servers, but I'm sure that I'm writing truth at least about something in this post.
