You can put tags based on what you like and the bar will show users with similar interests.

Semi-support? This could be useful to find users who have similar intersts.

Why did Scratch remove the project tagging system? I don't really remember using it, but I remember it existing…

Scratch is already social media and unlike Facebook, it doesn't collect your data.
