Bank Break-In is Breaking News!
The Bank has already experienced a few tragedies, as the bombing at the bank of 2019. At 5:00 p.m. several armed robbers stormed into the Bank, using a lock-pick to pick all the locks. However, this wasn't any lock-pick, it was designated for military use, which none of the robbers have access to. The armed robbers appeared to all have weapons and drove through a nearby neighborhood making lots of loud noise. None of the residents seemed to notice though, considering that this neighborhood was a little bit wild. After the robbers stormed into the Bank, they demanded money from the clerks, or else their fate would end. The clerks called security right away, but several of the night guards have fallen asleep, and about five of them were drinking and eating donuts. The robbers got what they wanted, and ran out of the bank. They were all dressed in black with a ski mask. One of the witnesses from a nearby neighborhood said this to our reporters. “They were playing loud music and waving a flag in the air. They were driving a big van, like a zombie truck that they use in zombie movies. They were screaming too. Yes, they were wearing black and ski masks to hide their identities.” She stated. “They made the situation pretty obvious because they broke in at 5:00 p.m. and almost everyone is still awake then.” The police department still hasn't caught the gang of robbers, but hopefully they will soon. “We'll catch the robbers soon. Those bandits. We have security footage of them escaping the bank and quickly jumping in their truck.” The police department said. “We have recognized one of the robbers as John Doe. We've been following him ever since the bombing of the bank. It seems that his favorite crime spot is the bank.” It's true. John Doe has committed several crimes including our local bank. “We need to improve security at the bank and hire better security guards.” Says the police department. “We advise that everyone should keep aware of their surroundings, and to not trust strangers. Anyone can be a criminal and you can be the victim.” It also happened that the SAME robbers robbed a different bank on the other side of town and stole an estimated amount of three million dollars. They are being scavenged for and police is trying to track them. Several people have sighted the same people, in the same costume at many different coffee shops, restaurants, and motels. “It seems like they never change out of their costumes.” A local in the area said. “They're always sighted here.” It seems as if the robbers aren't afraid of people discovering them, considering that some of the people the police suspect have already been in jail, or have a some kind of crime on their permanent record. This gang or what some people consider a cult, have been on the loose for at least one year. We don't know where their hide-out is or where they park their car, because it's probably way to big to fit into a sewer. Police are probably searching the city for their hide-out so they could camp their as we speak. This is a problem, as you need to close your blinds and never tell people where you're going to go, or what time you're going to go out, as the person might rob you while you're out. Us news casters advise for you go always make sure to lock windows, doors, and other so you can prevent other people from getting into your home. No robbers have broken into a house in this neighborhood yet, but always be sure to keep safe. Personally this whole situation is a big thing. I feel like robbers robbing banks is pretty usual, however in this town, it's pretty unusual. Yeah, believe it. We haven't had a robbing since about 8 months back. Most cities get so many robbers a day, it gives the police a massive headache! Luckily our police know how to handle this gang and they can catch them super soon! The security guards that were guarding the bank that day have been fired and will not be hired again for their behavior. Security guards have regretted their actions, and should've reported to work instead of going out to go get donuts. “I wish I was hired, but I won't EVER REGRET EATING THAT MANGO DONUT!!” One security guard said. He also stated that the job was very boring because you just hear people talking all day about finances and laws, and stuff like that. This is Lily your reporter from the weekly news. We wish that all of you stay safe and don't get robbed! Thank you for reading this column, have a nice day!
Scratch Opinion
Scratch is a friendly coding website open to all ages! I am of the users from this site and I would like to tell you my opinion of scratch. I’ve been on this site for about 11 months, and over that course of time, I’ve made so many scratch friends. Scratch has many activities that everyone can participate in. Such as art fight, Scratch Writing Camp, and many more. I was introduced to this website by school, like many other people and got addicted right away because I wanted to share my art, and other projects. I felt so encouraged by the niceness of many scratchers. The told me that my art is great and that my content was amazing. I really appreciate all those people for giving me a push forward. As soon as I realized that I'm not just a nobody who gets 1 profile comment every two months. I realized that I was part of a community. A part of a place where I could finally belong. Scratch has many studios for lots of different kinds of people, such as the Pokemon studio, or the Procreate Gang. Many scratchers share super fun exciting projects. If you click the explore tab, you will see so many different types of games (platformers, terraria type games, surveys, mazes), and so many different styles of art! The art tab is my favorite. You get to see the art made by scratchers all over the world! All of the games, animations, and art are usually kid friendly, which is what makes this website suited for my age. The Search bar is one of the best features. You get to search up any user, or project you want! This does make it kind of hard to find a project though when it has under 100+ views ^^. They put a featured tab on there, or popular, and you get projects with a large amount of views, and then you have to scroll all the way down to find the certain project you're looking for. Otherwise, this feature is super easy to use, and it's easy to change the mode (popular, featured). Scratch coding is amazing! They make it super simple for kids to understand. I really like this kind of coding much better than other ones because you don't have to type it all out or such as code.org it glitches a lot and it doesn't let you make your own username. This amazing website has so many videos made by scratchers using containing so many tutorials on how to draw, code and much more! The best thing about this site, is that you can express yourself in anyway you would like . You can feel free to rant on your profile and people won't judge you! So this makes me feel really comfortable and easy to express my feelings! This website makes me fell really confident in what I do. This website barely has any glitches, and it's super fun! I feel as if this website is a introduction to social media, which is really good for kids. This is so they know who to trust, and not to share any personal information. This website is so addicting. I log on everyday to check my mail and how much I got. I'm also in this camp right now, called Scratch Writing Camp. I joined to improve my writing before school starts. This camp is also sooo fun! I met so many new people and I hear amazing stories from other campers. My leaders are super nice and they're also very supportive. This camp is full of mangoes and ceiling holes, but it's probably the best camp I've ever been to. Even though its online. SWC is also helping me in writing because it encourages me to write a lot and not to procrastinate, because when I procrastinate the weekly, I end up getting really stressed. SWC can teach me some life lessons. I'm glad that Scratch Jr. Is a website because this helps younger kids learn how to code, which can be a really important skill in life, if you become anything related to a computer, such as a computer scientist. Just a this free site can change everything. Scratch has been such an important website in my life. It has taught me many life lessons, and that I should always credit someone. It has also taught me that art can also be a passion and I can be very successful. I really appreciate all the support and help I've gotten from this website. I thank all the people that helped me <3. Scratch is still going to be in my daily routine each day and one day, I might actually become famous because of my art. Or maybe, I'll combine both of my mom's dream job and what I want to be. My mom wants me to be a doctor, and I want to be an artist, if I combine them together, I get a plastic surgeon.
Part 3
(Read the interview with Moss and Finch! I couldn't message them in time, knowing that I'm running short on time, so I facetimed my friend and interviewed her on the subject of School <3) ALSO I REWORDED EVERYTHING TO MAKE IT COUNT!
Interview with inrl friend :
I sit on the bed with my friend on a facetime call. I suddenly ask her, “Can I interview you for a school paper?” She said of course! She never turns down an opportunity like this.
“Alright I'm going to start asking questions! What Elementary school?” I said. She replied with the answers of the parachute activities on field day and the school trip that we took for three weeks!
“Question number two, what was your favorite year of school?” She replied with third grade. “Why?” She replied with because then her crush and her were best friends then, and they once did this painting activity and she drew emojis with hearts on it. Very creative!
“Question number three, What was your favorite activity to do during recess?” She said that her favorite activity was to play kickball, playing on the playground, and just messing around with friends and hanging out.
“Question number four, Which was the most difficult year of learning for you?” Fifth grade was really chaotic, and people made fun of me. I also had some trouble learning and I had to test out who were real friends and fake ones. “Was I one the real friends?” She replied with Yasss, of course! You are the best and one of the best things that happened to me!
“Question number five, What kind of person did you hate at school, like a personality.” She said that she hated pick-me girls, and she hated girls that had a new crush every week and just wanted attention. She also despises people who stabs people in the back, and sometimes over hears conversations on accident and can find out who is the backstabber. And she also just hates men in general, other than her brothers and dad.
“Question number six, Which year did you feel most comfortable with a teacher and a environment of a classroom?” She replied with fifth grade, first grade, second grade. She said that fifth grade she had a lot of drama and that she fainted during a project, and that in first grade she barely had any friends. So she chooses second grade.
“Question number seven, What was your favorite event the school held, such as Fall fest, academic night, field trips?” She said the trip to CIMI and Field day were the best. “Why?” She said that CIMI was because it was an amazing adventure, because it was her first time without her parents for three days, and she got to spend time with her classmates. Field day was super fun, and people kept telling me I looked amazing without my mask and I felt comfortable in the environment.
“Question number eight, Are you excited for next school year?” She said that she wasn't because people might think bad stuff about her, she's very insecure and she feels bad about herself. She also is excited because she knows that she can meet some new people and teachers and learn about so many different subjects. She also says if anyone messes with her she'll fight back with words.
“Question number nine, If you were to repeat any grade which would it be?” Her first grade teacher, because she got to do basically whatever she wanted and she got away without any homework for about two months!
“Question number ten, What was your favorite special, (Art, physical education, music etc.)?” She said her favorite special was art. “Why would you choose art?” Because she really loves drawing, and one of her dreams was to become an artist when she grows up.
Now changing the subject to Art:
“Question number eleven, which is your favorite style of art (manga, anime, cartoon, etc.)?” She said that she really likes to draw fictional art. Fictional characters, landscapes, and objects.
“Question number twelve, do you do art digitally or traditionally?” Both . I kind-of sketch the drawing out first then digitalize it.
“Question number thirteen, Which digital drawing app do you use?” IbisPaintX
“Question number fourteen, Do you draw very commonly?” Yes, pretty frequently.
“Question number fifteen, Do you prefer drawing humans or animals more?” Humans! They're easier to draw in her opinion.
“Question number sixteen, Who are your biggest art influences, like who inspired you to start doing art?” The person who inspired her was her mom, because she was an amazing artist. If her mom could do it, she thought she could do it.
“Question number seventeen, Where do you find inspiration?” Usually, whenever I look at something, I try to learn it on my own and just draw.
“Question number eighteen, What message does your art show?” She likes to draw anything. She likes people to think about what the message is, because she believes the mind can think of anything.
Thank you for doing this interview with me! I hope you have a great day
This interview below doesn't count as words
Interview with Moss and Finch: (Additional, had to change subject )
This week, we have the amazing @mossflower29 (Moss) and @zparkly (Finch)! This weeks topic is about SWC and their experiences! “Hii welcome to your interview Moss and Finch ! This interview is about your opinion of SWC. Your first question is: What is your favorite memory from SWC? (This session or any other session)” I said. These are the answers: “as much as im loving this session and all of it's soon-to-be memories, im a sucker for nostalgia, so im gonna have to go with something from july 2021. my favourite memory would have to be staying up late enough to see the daily change (before they changed the timezone) while stuck in an airport because my flight got delayed a whole day. i really love airports and older vacation memories, and i also love swc, so if you mix the two together you get a pretty nice memory.” Finch said. This is Moss' answer: This is such a great question :0 I have so many amazing memories from the past year of SWC-ing, but my top one has to be from the start of this session. My mom let me stay up until midnight my time so that I could start writing at the very first minute of SWC. I spent a very pleasant four hours between seven and midnight talking to my campers, doing word wars, and finishing up cabin planning; but the real fun started at midnight! It was so great to f i n a l l y be able to celebrate with my fellow PST-ers, and I ended up writing several thousand words that night xD! “These are great answers! I bet that when the flight got delayed a WHOLE day was pretty brutal. Also writing several thousand words :OO? That's a lot of words!” I said. “Alrighty! Next question! Have you ever procrastinated on a weekly/daily?”I said. “It really depends on the day xD At the beginning of camp, I usually get my dailies done within an hour of their release, but as the months go on I start to fall behind and finish just a few minutes before the deadline.” Moss said.
Part 4
(This recipe might have come from somewhere, or might seem really familiar, but it's how we always make Coconut Pudding, also this is my Dad's recipe soooo…)
How to Make Coconut Pudding:
Ingredients:
2 cups of coconut milk (this can be found at about anywhere, you can also add a little more if you like it more coconut-y)
1/3 cup of white sugar (again add more if you would like, it's your preference)
2 tablespoons of corn starch (don't overthink this, it can also be found at about everywhere, and it's pretty cheap.)
2 tablespoons of butter (we usually let it soften for about 20 minutes in room temperature)
2 egg yolks (No shells!)
1 teaspoon of coconut extract (kind-of like vanilla extract, this can be found at Walmart or online.)
Steps:
Put all of the ingredients together in a pot and turn the stove on a medium temperature whisk it while its on the heat to let it all combine together. Let the butter melt, which takes about 5 minutes, then whisk it for a little while more. Then cool it in the fridge for about 10 minutes, or more if you would like. Then you can serve this to your guests! This could also be added into tropical drinks.

Would writing about Larry the Downing Street Cat running for PM or something along those lines be non political? (He’s the Downing Street Cat, Boris Johnson resigned, and the internet wants Larry in as PM. If you need context) It’s treading the lines a bit, so is this/would this be inappropriate for parts 1 or 2 of the weekly?

hehe I'm not going to continue, am I? The weekly will be due in a day, so I don't have a chance oh well.
Recent events have left many people devastated. Stan the overcooked salmon was kidnapped three days ago, and is yet to be found. We have evidence that his old colleague, Cody the kind-of-cooked cod was behind the the affair. Stan, 19, is a yellow/green, very overcooked, salmon with feet who is amazingly talented and wise, making him and international treasure. Most devastatingly, he was loved by many. Hundreds- no MILLIONS of people and fish from all over the world admire how strong and brave he is. Cody, 16, is a brown salmon with three feet who was only half-cooked, unknown to the world until investigators found evidence of his supposed kidnap. Many years ago, these two fish were the closest of friends. They lived in the same cove for years. Stan and Cody ignored when the members of their sub-species would migrate up the river. They did this because their migratory paths would take them in opposite directions. Stan was getting restless, though. He wanted to see what lay beyond the small waterfall that his ancestors leaped over. Cody did everything he could to stop him, but he failed. Cody watched as Stan threw himself over the waterfall, and the imaginary wall that had been built between them. Since then, Cody has been lonely. Authorities believe this was his reasoning behind the crime. I'm sure you are wondering how these fish developed brains and feet, well that story takes us back to right after the two fish went their separate ways. Stan went upstream, into a popular place for fishing. He was caught by an unknown person. Then one night at a party, a girl named Paige was slapped across the face with a fish, who was extremely overcooked and had feet. Soon, the overcooked salmon with feet was named Stan, called the wisest and coolest fish in the world, and became extraordinarily famous. This was just in March. We have reason to believe that someone by the name of Tori caught (and partially cooked) Cody, and didn't cook him enough. She got food poisoning from him, the poison must've been what revived the fish. Tori threw him out the window onto the street, not knowing he was alive. There on the street, he learned how to live a life of crime from alley cats and raccoons. These associates have been taken in for interrogations, but so far, we have found no evidence of these animals being accomplices. The evidence we have found that leads authorities to Cody the kind-of-cooked cod is little, but just enough. We found a note, in horrible handwriting, that read “who's gonna be the talk of the town now?” We have reason to believe that Stan is being held in the alley where Cody lived for years. Authorities are yet to investigate the area. Many investigators object to the theory of Cody being behind the kidnap, and say that it could be Tori or Paige. However, these two girls have no motives, nor is there evidence supporting the theory.
