So, uhh… Is there even anything else to discuss, or are we just trying to let the ST know we really want this?

it's already been seen, it's linked in a pinned sticky and they've explicitly said it hasn't been rejected We are trying to get this page noticed by the ST and eventually get a controller extension into Scratch Lab
i assume it's just low priority and they want to make absolutely sure that they won't find a problem that ends up breaking a bunch of projects, for example if they end up having to change how the blocks work or remove the extension

Scratch support on consoles is rejected. This is talking about controllers you use on a PC. Maybe scratch for nes, snes chip-8 and atari?

For anyone who got to watch the Scratch 15th anniversary celebration: Did they hint at any new features? (Possible additions to Scratch Lab?)

Congratulations! You are probably the 100th person to bring that up on this thread! keep in mind that scratch does know this exists and in the official rejected sugggestion thread its says
scratch for console will never be added, but it doesnt say controller support is never gonna be added, heck it links to here
(The sarcasm is a joke, but in all seriousness, the fact that this is related to a rejected suggestion has been brought up quite a few times)
