Forumoji: Forum-style unicode emojis!

Hi, apologies for submitting this again, but I have revised the left speech bubble from this so it has shading. It would be greatly appreciated if someone with a GitHub account would replace the current left speech bubble with this one.

huh, interesting. i didn't realise there was any meaning to the date on the sample calendar, so i chose Scratch Day instead. it looks like most platforms had a date that was significant to that platform originally, and some of them changed to July 17 later after it was decided to be World Emoji Day although others didn't.

when you type it into chrome it's just 1

we might have to do three fingered hands for a lot of the hand gestures just because they're so small.. the thumbs up and down already do, and trying to fit four onto the clapping hands looks really weird.

maybe the style guide should just have them all like that for consistency.

Maybe we should do what all computers do to image resizing and blur/mix the colors a little bit, making the fingers… 2px?

so shaded fingers but no black outlines between them? i tried that when i shaded the yawning emoji, although that one still isn't big enough for four fingers it might work well on the bigger ones. blurring the black outlines wouldn't match the style of every other emoji we've done so far.

No, https://lopste.github.io/forumoji's not working. Has some error about “emoji is not defined” in the list.js script.

That was a weird bug. I seem to have fixed it. Apparently, if the Unicode codepoint isn't completely capitalized, it has a simultaneous heart attack, stroke, and seizure.

Anyways: fixed.

That was my issue anyways; I added the party ball emoji and didn't think I had to capitalize the whole thing. Enjoy the new emoji, I guess!

It was a bug that I fixed shortly after you mentioned it. See post #733.

's authors are listed incorrectly: They are “author1 author2”, while the README says it should be “author1\nauthor2”.

Other than that, I made a quick script to rank the amount of contributions (which is how I found that issue), I fixed it and made it look a bit better:

I've made 110?? That's a lot! I get that sfg has 399, because they made a lot of emojis, but it's awesome to see how many everybody has contributed.
