Have USB controllers added to extensions
(#1326)i knowIt's better than yet another useless support post(#1324)thats litraly how controller support works2. It's not really controller support. It's just basically emulating a keyboard. This means pressure sensitive buttons, like triggers and analog sticks, won't work well if at all.
Yes! That's exactly why I want this support! It would make playing on controllers better on Scratch, and without any add-ons!

…seriously? considering the age range of scratch, thats not likely. also, CHROMEOS DUDE You mean supporting the extra buttons on games console controllers? That seems like a cool idea, but keep in mind that people with controllers can simply map the buttons to keyboard keys.

Support! This would be great for being able to make games for different game systems and give it a realistic feel. I just wonder, would it not work for wireless controllers?

The browser doesn't care how the controller is connected because It doesn't matter. That's the OS's job. I just wonder, would it not work for wireless controllers?
Just read toe OP!

The ST wouldn't have to do very much to implement this, they just have to add code for handling the inputs. Browsers already support controller input.It is still good to clarify to make it easier for the STThe browser doesn't care how the controller is connected because It doesn't matter. Very true. Heres some example blocks:
<button [ v] pressed?>
(joystick 1 direction)
(joystick 2 direction)
