I will have to agree with you. To me, using Windows is much easier than using MacOS. I remember using MacOS about two years ago for a summer class and it kind of confused me on how it works. But when I try windows, the UI is really good and I understand how things work.

Same with phones!

On my school computer, I had to restart to update ChromeOS (eww eww eww)
On Windows, it says “Sleep and Update” or something like that, showing that it needs to be turned off. Not really restarted. But at least it needs to rest

Why does almost every advanced scratch OS look like Mac (I mean..rounded + nav on bottom)?
Out of all of those..I like Fabricon the best, simplicity along with originality is key.

To solve this, I suggest we provide the UI as a dedacated sprite so an advanced user can swap in their own UI styles. It would use broadcasts to set everything and we could provide a “basic UI” template in a separate project.
