Is it really “riddled with spyware”? It just works, it isn't outdated like IE, it supports new and innovative web technologies faster than any other browser (but they don't contribute upstream to webkit), has convenient syncing with all your devices (Google Account, which everyone has for YouTube at least), has full extension support (it works, even if people dont like manifest v3, all extensions work on chrome), and is also helping with the development of Chromium. I don't see any proof it is “riddled with spyware”. Also, I was talking about

Wrong Info Detected

(1) Firefox and tons of other browsers also just work - they also do support the majority of web technologies.
(2) Chromium also gets the new tech faster than other browsers, so why not use that?

Maybe because of google account syncing?

The average internet user would not want to spend an hour building a browser. Also, https://download-chromium.appspot.com/
Well this is getting very offtopic.

Hey, Twitter has a fullly featured keylogger in their website! Also, it loads slower with uBO than without! In case you don't believe me, here's a GIF to prove it.

Also, addressing sync, just create a git repository and use github desktop to push your browser profile (Or, if you're on Windows, `%appdata%`, ) to a private github remote! Way easier, with the added bonus of easily being able to revert an accidental bookmark delete.

May I ask why they do that, if it works and it's not inappropriate surely you should be allowed to use it?

They both have many vulnerabilities. Chrome's are just more publicized because it's more used.

If you have to, just use cURL or something to find a working download for Firefox or something, then download it.
