How do I convert SB3 to BOOTABLE ISO?

To everyone who suggests making an EXE running at startup that runs the *.sb3 file and executes

taskkill /f /im explorer.exe

, you are still running Windows but with the file open and no shell. You can always Ctrl+Shift+Esc* and run explorer.exe from there.

* that combination opens the task manager

step 1. dualboot linux (or an os of your choise) and windows
step 2. disable taskmgr, cmd, ctrl+alt+del, regedit using regedit in windows
step 3. make a batch file that runs a modified version of scratch desktop that only runs your project in fullscreen and kills explorer.exe in windows or linux
step 4. move the batch file to startup in windows or linux
step 5. edit winlogon* in linux *replace
step 6. modify windows for the iso on linux
step 7. stuff the modified version of windows in an iso on linux

Editing the winlogon binary? You mean replace? also it probobly wouldn't work since Windows has signature checking.

No. Instead, create a copy of winlogon, call it scratchlogon then make the edits using a Hex Editor on the copy. Then, on a LINUX MINT (live cd or not) terminal, go to the folder where winlogon is stored, then type down this code:

rm ./winlogon.exe
mv ./scratchlogon.exe winlogon.exe

Then, boot up Windows again.
You will boot into the modified winlogon.

if you really want to do this you can use electron to run at startup on a very basic linux distro (arch + x and you're good to go), you can then set electron as the root window and enjoy a scratch os. basically you're building a garbage version of chromium, can't say i recommend, but hey all the power to you

i use arch linux (btw) with the linux zen kernel and enjoy writing silly things in silly languages using silly frameworks

ok now with this info VERY SIMPLE* STEPS (windows required (no need to activate))

im making this at 8:47PM btw

1. dual boot linux and windows
2 .download this modified version of winlogon that signs in to a user without asking for password or anything (no one has made it yet!)
3. install this modified version of scratch desktop (again, no one has made it yet!) EDIT: a 3rd party unofficial non-election based version would be best
4. make a batch file that is called anything you like with

kill C:/windows/explorer.exe
kill C:/windows/system32/explorer.exe
kill C:/windows/system/explorer.exe
"modified version of scratch desktop.exe"

5. either make a shortcut to the batch file in the startup folder (global: “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp”) or put the batch file itself in it
6. disable task manager
7. restart and boot to linux
8. in linux go to

C:/windows/system32/winlogon.exe

and replace it with the modifed version you downloaded in step 2.
9. REMOVE WINDOWS SIGNATURE CHECKING (oop turned on caps lock.)
10. put the windows installation on an iso
and you're done

*not

EXPLAINATION
1. you need both windows and another os (linux)
2. you don't want to have to sign in do you?
3. to run your scratch project
4.

kill C:/windows/explorer.exe
kill C:/windows/system32/explorer.exe
kill C:/windows/system/explorer.exe

to kill explorer.exe

"modified version of scratch desktop.exe"

to run your scratch project
5. to run the batch file on start up
6. so you can't go to task manager and run explorer with ctrl+shift+esc
7. to boot to linux to do some stuff you can't do on windows or i can explain
8. do some stuff you can't do on windows or i can explain
9. to make windows run the modifed version of winlogon
10. to make the iso

this part used to be in all caps but now is not (editing at 3:30pm)

This way is better than the way using election because it uses scratch desktop (which uses election…..)

exactly! just build it off of linux anyways, its a whole lot easier and safer. you'll just end up bricking your system and thats no fun..

Yes, especially since there is a software called “Cubic” on Linux Ubuntu based systems and it customizes Ubuntu ISOs.
