I just like to formalize our partnership with a declaration which I prefer our Secretary to write. We just don't have a Secretary quite yet (sorry!) but I'm making sure we make a good decision with how to handle that.

Although I'd like to keep staff positions a rather flexible thing, to answer your question, maybe not.

With that being said, if you plan to be partially inactive but occasionally post on the weekends or something, that's fine! You can remain a moderator for the time being. If you plan to leave the site altogether but return on a later date, I'd recommend resigning so that another active user can keep your position.

An Update on the Staff Situation

Before enacting my plan on staff rearrangement, I planned to seek 78ch3's input on the matter but they haven't replied. With the planned activity check set to commence in just two days, I'm planning to make some sort of announcement within less than 48 hours from now. This announcement will announce who will occupy the Secretary, Head Moderator, and Moderator positions.

Three additional notes:
- Since one of the Secretary's duties is to carry out activity checks, I plan for the new Secretary to create and update an activity check status post (like mine from last month.) I also expect the Secretary to allow p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p- to send out the activity check notices to each individual shop and to follow up on his progress. In advance, I apologize to the Secretary for this being sudden.
- If you're nosy (and the type to read movie spoilers), any planned list for staff members you may stumble upon is not official until I say it is. Again, that official statement will likely come within 48 hours.
- The new Secretary will be assisted in arranging and formatting the activity check post.

Tips and Basic Advertising will be ready tomorrow, Staff Training the day after.
Instant image hosting for shop banners should be available any time before the 18th, and 5 to 30 days of advertising in The Night Wolf may take time to be ready.
The last two benefit availability dates are indefinite because they aren't offered by the SCA, but by shop owners.

Oh, wow! Thanks for doing all of this! It looks good, but I just have to small critiques to make!

Firstly, I think Disorganized wasn't the last shop to join. The shop almost pulled from the USS back in January but remained part of the federation (despite not being on the member list at all), but I sort of re-added them during the last activity check. But re-arranging it to the proper order is just a bonus! (It's probably fine the way it is!)

Currently, the last three shops in your list don't have bolded titles. Again, a small change.

New Staff Starting April 13, 2021

Hello everyone! As many of you know, a resignation and a staff member going inactive prompted us to make some rearrangements with staff. Normally this would only take like a day or so to complete, but it took a bit longer since we don't currently have an active federation owner. Regardless, MClovers and I agreed on the following roster:

Head Moderator MClovers
Secretary misaPuding

Moderator 1 cs4233117
Moderator 2 kccuber
Moderator 3 RSriram2010

The new staff are now officially in their new positions effective as of this post. Some additional notes I would like to include is a thank you to former Secretary p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p- and former Moderator PndaGmr978 for their contributions to the federation. They are always welcome to re-engaging with the federation! p has resigned and Pnda has been removed because they were inactive.

Edit: This post is now updated to reflect the newest changes. To be clear, all new employees do not have to fill out any application forms! Below is a more thorough explanation of the shift:

p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p- resigned as Secretary.
PndaGmr978 was removed as Moderator.
MClovers, current Head Moderator, declined a promotion to Secretary.
misaPuding was promoted to Secretary, skipping Head Moderator.
cs4233117 becomes senior-most Moderator following Pnda's removal. They were not chosen for promotion due to their impending inactivity.
kccuber was hired as middle Moderator since they indicated interest first.
RSriram2010 was hired as junior-most Moderator since they indicated interest second.
