Agreed. Should we make the federation member list and shop directory separate things? I agree with both sides of this question, but I'm curious how you feel about it.

So far, the new USS has started off pretty well. We've gained 15+ shop applicants, I’m seeing new posts daily and there is very little negative argument going on. It didn’t take long for the new USS to gain traction after it's reboot on my birthday to 2 months later. However, I ran into an issue where the first page of the USS was unaccessible, due to a “security issue” error appearing. I’m pretty sure this is a glitch in the system. Others could access it fine, I could not. I need to use my PC to edit the front page, which is inconvenient as it doesn't take as long to boot up my iPad as it does with my PC (even though the difference is rather small). I’m hoping this issue is not permanent, but for now it is difficult to get things updated. The USS team is doing a great job, and I hope they can continue doing this in the future.

Initially, I decided not to include federation partners as part of the activity check but I've changed my mind. The activity check now includes the SCA as active and subscribed to our newsletter.

Activity Check Update (March 22, 2021)

At the time of writing this, 16 shops have made some sort of response (three of those being closures/removals), whereas three haven't given any yet. This activity check has gone fairly smoothly, since we've gotten most responses within a couple of days! Thanks to those who have responded already!

Our upcoming newsletter is an optional program that shops may subscribe to. Although we don't require shops to subscribe, we haven't received an explicit yes or no from the following shops. Unless specified otherwise, we'll assume these shops (who have responded to the activity check) do not want to subscribe to our monthly newsletter:

Cloud Blue, Ihatr's Images, Milky's Image Hosting Service, The Intro Maker Shop
