I´m not sure if you tried this before, but what about actualising browser? I had something about what I thought is a site glitch (cause I was unable to run projects and when I reloaded the page and therefore downloaded page data again it still didn´t work), then I restarted the PC, closing all apps, and when I re-opened Firefox it actualised itself and everything worked correctly.

Hmm, one time firfox crashed and i lost 3 browser windows. totally understandable though because it was private browsing windows

p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p- hasn't really updated the activity check, so I might be taking over shortly. MClovers, do you have a definitive answer about how frequent the newsletter will be sent out? I'm also having concerns about the federation art contest.

For reference, the following items are needed for the federation: regular banner, seal, activity check banner, newsletter banner?, studio thumbnail, membership banner.

USS Banner Designs
Hello everyone! As many of you know, we've been searching for new banners to use for the USS. After sorting out some issues with my CubeUpload account, I'm now able to share with you three designs I have made.

Each of these designs emphasize simplicity, something that I've been striving for during this new iteration of the federation. It also has reasonably bright colors, and feature a shade of yellow that is similar to what the current banner has.

Regular Banner
This banner could be used at the top of the original post, as well as in any related USS post if deemed necessary. You may notice that our federation's motto (“Lunctus tabernas et cooperantem”) is not included in this design. I feel as though we can move the motto out of the banner and perhaps into simple text below the banner if we deem it necessary. It has been replaced with “THE FIFTH FEDERATION”, which may sound ambiguous so I'm open to feedback for better wording.


Studio Banner
Recently, I discovered an official studio that 78ch3 created for the federation, and that it's lacking an official banner. Below is the banner shown above except resized and slightly modified to better fit the studio's thumbnail. Perhaps a key flaw with this design is the fact that “THE FIFTH FEDERATION” is rather small, but it's not supposed to be too large either.


Activity Check
This banner would be displayed at the top of activity checks posts, both the ones that are posted here and the ones that are posted in each shop's topic.


Other Images
Previously, I stated that we also needed a membership banner for shops to put at the end of their posts to indicate that they're part of the USS and/or a seal to make some posts appear more formal. I'll probably make these soon.

Yep! If anyone could create a newsletter banner after the regular one has been created to the theme, that would be awesome.

Do you mean ISOC (Inter-Shop Order Completion) or that the USS would complete some orders from member shops? I personally don´t think that the idea with USS completing it´s members´s order is good, because if we for example won´t have a good artist and a shop claiming itself as “best art shop” will have bad reviews. I think a better way to help shops would be a directory with usernames of people who want to work in a shop so for example art shops will know about people who want to join art shops, then they can contact those users and have more staff so they will have less problems with completing orders.

Got it. I might start rolling out the new activity check posts starting as soon as today; I asked about the newsletter's frequency so I could have more information in the posts.

As misaPuding said above, it's currently known as ISOC, according to one of 78ch3's posts on the first page. They did raise some good points about stuff related to this.

Thank you for letting me know. I might be able to start the activity check process as soon as today; the end of the weekend at the latest. The next scheduled activity check would be around the start of April, though the delay in this activity check might make a postponement more appealing. We'll see.

Now may not be a good time to bring this up, especially since we have some submissions in already, but how does everyone feel about dropping our motto? Or at least the Latin component of it? Recently, I did some brief Latin translation to check if the Latin motto is correct, and it seems questionable. We can keep the English motto as a compromise, or get rid of the motto altogether.

I'll be taking over as the person who oversees this month's activity check. I'll be slightly changing the procedure, as explained below.
