I agree with this suggestion. I just have a few questions/concerns. First, I would like to kindly ask what the Public Relations Officer does? It seems to be a position that was created during my absence from the USS. Secondly, on the previous page, p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p- stated that he's willing to become a secretary for the USS. What position could this best translate into (if it can't become a role of its own)?

That brings me to my next point: right now there are two people seeking ownership of the USS, 78ch3 and RedGuy7. How should we settle this? Are either of you willing to concede?

Fair enough.
I do have my own federation, so if anyone wishes to take my spot but still allow me to have some posts on the front page for information (because sometimes the owner may go inactive) I'm ok with that.

I agree that the Secretary and PRO roles can be merged, if that's fine with p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-. The Secretary can be in charge of activity checks, partnerships, advertising, and various other duties. In case that's too much (or the Secretary goes inactive), other people can help pretty freely.

Concerning leadership, I'm leaning towards allowing 78ch3 to lead the USS. Although he may own his own separate federation, I trust that he will be able to keep the USS running as well. I would volunteer to become the leader of the USS once again, but considering 78ch3 has not led the federation before as Owner (whereas I have), perhaps this could be a good choice. Besides, I'm not willing to be the leader of the USS as of right now.

With that being said, it appears we have worked out the hierarchy:

Owner - 78ch3
President - Austinato
Head Moderator - MClovers
Secretary - p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-

Moderators - N/A

Although we don't have any moderators yet, we should be fine for now.

One more thing, though. On the previous page, I made a list of suggestions I have for the USS. Below is a brief summary of them in case you don't feel like going to the previous page and such. I'd like to try to implement some or all of them:

Austinato's suggestions:

• Rule simplification. Let's not have a constitution or a lengthy rules document. Let's try to keep the rules to a reasonable minimum to keep things nice and simple for everyone moving forward.
  
• Role simplification. Let's avoid creating (or maintaining) a lengthy amount of roles. We seem to have already achieved this goal by effectively merging the Secretary and PRO positions.
  
• More simple representative system. Anyone can “represent” their shop, but each shop has one vote.
  
• Less votes. Although this doesn't seem to be a concern right now, let's avoid having too many votes in the future. If we do, let's try to group them towards right after activity checks to avoid problems with absence and such.
  
• Consistent activity checks. Let's try to have the Secretary run activity checks on a monthly basis. For this, we probably just need confirmation from p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p- if he's fine with doing this. I suggest it should be at the start of every month. Perhaps we can make an exception for this month and do it immediately, since we're starting new?

As I said before, if anyone has any feedback or other suggestions concerning this, feel free to discuss them here.

Also this would be a good time for any last minute volunteers for Owner to step in, even if it seems pretty clear that 78ch3 will become the next USS leader. Apart from that, we seem to be ready for a new topic.

I wrote something, but it must have not gone through. Here's what I said:

A Secretary should own the shops page. They wouldn't accept shops though, that's for somebody else. If we were to have ‘meetings’ the scretary would mark down anything important and let all shops/workers know. They would also do activity checks.

I would also like to suggest that before we create the new topic, we should plan to save as many posts on page one as possible, because I notice that when clicking links to posts on the same page, it takes much less time to load than posts on different pages. Let's try our best to have as many on the first page as possible (without spamming). If we end up having a few or several on different pages, that's also okay.

I'm interested in reserving two posts.

The first could be a post that contains our “guidelines”, a short list of rules that will hopefully be as concise as the website's Community Guidelines. The other could be a “guide” post that explains the positions in the USS and some stuff members should know.
