Yeah, I'm gonna agree here, considering the fact that there would need to be a lot of encoding/decoding involved here, considering you're not allowed to put letters in cloud variables. I'm not a codery person, but I know for a fact that that would take forever to work, and I would consider it an impossible order

Yeah it's simple, i just don't know how to split the cloud data into the list after its decoded, or how i would encode the list with a way to split it. Like, I can encode a string or variable, but i don't know how to encode a list.

im pretty sure
you need a string to hex function (representing each character as 2 hex digits,(making it shorter than decimal and binary)and supporting up to 254 characters (the 255 and 256th must be reserved)). The hex number must start with ‘0x’. you then need to assign one unused hex number as a delimiter.
every time a new entry is converted to x, a delimiter should be added.
a character cannot be ‘00’.

to read the list, you need to first convert pairs of hex digits to characters. if the delimiter is encountered, add a new entry to the list and continue converting to the new entry.
NOTE:
if the amount of digits is odd the reader should add a 0 to the beginning.

e.g.
01=h 02=e 03=l 04=o 05=w 06=r 07=d 08=
FF=delimiter

writer:
hello, world, hello world => 01 02 03 03 04 FF 05 04 06 03 07 FF 01 02 03 03 04 08 05 04 06 03 07 => 0x102030304FF0504060307FF0102030304080504060307

reader:

anyways imo were using ‘whenever you can finish’ as an excuse for not doing this order

also, to the deleting problem, we should monitor if our element was deleted since (at least in my version) the client will be making a copy of the cloud variable and then committing changes. so if they both delete at the same time one of them will inevitably have their changes overwritten by a modified copy of an outdated cloud. so if we monitor if the changes were overwritten or not we can recommit changes if our changes were overwritten

Just use encode

you need a delimiter and while decoding when the delimiter is encountered start decoding the next item
