No one else has written a speech yet, so I'm writing mine. Remember, the 30th is the last day for speeches. (I've been keeping an eye on the timeline)

My Presidential Election Speech
First, I would like to thank Muffins for founding this shop. It has helped me make so many friends here on Scratch. I joined, well, basically the first time I went on the Scratch Forums. I have seen this shop's ups and downs, from milestones such as reaching 50 and even 100 pages, to tragedies such as the waves of resignations we've had. This shop has been so important to me. And I hope it's important to all of you.

With that being said, we must look to the future. I don't know if any president can be as good as Muffins, but I can promise you that I will try. And if I don't, well, they say “if at first you don't succeed, try, try, again.” Here are my reasons why I will be an excellent president.

I am loyal- I joined early in the shop's history, and I will stay with it to the end. I am active, checking and reading every post, with the only exception being if I'm away from Scratch as a whole.
I am creative- I won't be afraid to try new things or spice things up. I'll try new systems, experiment. I'll find out what works and what doesn't, all in the name of improving the shop.
I am friendly- I will help foster the community at this shop, which is, in my opinion, one of the greatest things about it. I'll help it grow.
I am (mostly) professional- When it comes to official matters, I will handle the situation with confidence. I promise that I'll watch for chaos, and make sure that it doesn't harm the shop. Order is beneficial to the well-bring of any institution, lest it may fall apart. However, I'm not opposed to some fun, as long as you finish your orders and reply to activity checks. *cue mom “finish your chores” look*

I am confident that I will be a good president. That is why you should elect, me, LydzWinry, for the August 2020 Election.

Tried to show the more serious side of my personality, which I don't express as much. Maybe I felt the need to compensate for my relative “newness” on Scratch? Or maybe it's just one of those things that feels more serious. This is one of my more “professional” posts. However, I'll still be classic and quirky LydzWinry, even if I have to act more professional.
