While the world is running around like crazy not knowing what to do, while Donald Trump is yelling at China, EU, Italy, Brazil and pretty much everybody, while people are frantically searching for a vaccine, I planted a pot of beans.

Well, I got nothing else to do. Life is boring, to say in the least. Not much to do. Except for eating and sleeping. I hadn't started Wattpad or my book at that time, plus the fact that the test was still long long away, it was VERY BORING. Like extremely boring. *tries to emphasize how boring it is*

Well, so I planted the beans. They grow fast. Very fast. They already sprouted little stalks on day 1 and grew speedily. At around day 13 or so they reached around 20cm and started to wither.

It's a short life.

But that short life, they gave me a period of excitement every night when I went to bed. It was exciting, trying to predict how much they would grow. Nurturing them. Watering their baby green stalks, and looking at their cute little leaves. That's what life is about, right? You only live once, and only for a short period of time. May as well make a positive impact to humanity (ya hear that burglars).

Although none of them grew a second pair of leaves. Or lived long enough for day 20.

Save one.

It was the lone wolf, the only survivor while all its friends died around it.

It grew beautifully, eventually growing a second pair of leaves, no not pair. 3 leaves together, sprouting out. (The older two leaves died afterwards though)

A beacon of hope. That humanity WILL get through this crisis, just like they have for every other one.

We're extremely resilient. All we have to do, is to link hands and BELIEVE we can overcome this crisis. Then we can do it. With humanity's top brains working together, we can defeat corona, once and for all.
