Preliminary Inspection (8/10)
Clearly, the first thing that anyone is going to see when opening up your shop is the title. The title is excellent, using fancy fonts to good effect. If you wanted, you could add symbols as well, but it’s not entirely necessary. The only thing I’d say is that sometimes a smaller font means that your shop can be overlooked, so if you’re short on orders, try experimenting with a larger font. The banner is also of good quality, another good sign, but considering you offer banners I recommend that someone inside your shop makes one to increase trustworthiness. But great job so far!

The welcome message is a nice touch, though the only thing I’d say is that you might want to think about your shop’s slogan a bit, since quickly implies that it will be efficiency. Maybe you could talk about quality instead? The directory is also a fantastic idea, to cut down on the time customers spend scrolling through pages. I would also recommend experimenting with BBCode, fancy fonts, symbols, and infographics on the first post to make it a bit more exciting, but good job so far!

Going through the rest of the front page, the headlines section is a nice touch, but I’d recommend changing the “Shout” heading to something more flattering like “Headlines”, “Breaking News” or similar. The “What We Sell” section is a nice touch, but I’d recommend bolding it to be consistent with the previous heading, and to fix up the capitalisation for greater professionalism. I’d also recommend running a spell-checker on the first page, since there are a couple of errors, and considering jazzing it up a bit more, as above, but great job so far!

I had a quick scroll through the rest of the pages, and determined they were helpful and mostly grammatically correct. However, they could use a bit of jazzing up using the techniques listed above. But great job!

Overall, this shop is well-formatted and helpful, as well as grammatically correct most of the time. However, it would be great to see the pages more jazzed up. But great job!

Service (9.5/10)
This shop’s service was fantastic, with my order being taken in less than two minutes and completed in less than half an hour! The shops staff were also very friendly, and the profile message was well-structured and friendly. The employee also responded well when I asked for a minor adjustment to the order, and it was done promptly. My only suggestion would be to have an order confirmation message when the order is taken, but considering the short wait time it probably isn’t necessary. Amazing job!

Product (7.5/10)
The product was to my rather broad specifications, and was of an adequate quality, however I am aware that many other shops offer a superior quality in that particular area. But, it may also be related to the employee rather than anything else, and it was obvious that they had tried hard on it, so I’m willing to be less critical at that point. But good job!

Overall (8.5/10)
Overall, The Willow Tree Shop is of an above average quality, with friendly staff and extremely fast order times, though quality was slightly lacking in the product received. However, considering The Willow Tree Shop is still relatively new, there is ample opportunity for improvement as experience is gained for many employees. The shop layout is also neat and covers all bases, though could be jazzed up a bit. But overall, The Willow Tree Shop is fast and efficient, as it promises, and with time and experience will likely improve in other areas. Good job!

The Spritesmasher Shop Review – May 2020
Preliminary Inspection (7.5/10)
The first thing anyone sees before clicking on the topic is the title. Admittedly, the title is rather plain, though the square brackets are a nice addition. I’d recommend putting in fancy fonts or symbols to jazz it up a bit more. The banner is not too bad, but I’d recommend seeing if you can get a better one from elsewhere to increase orders. But good job so far!

I read the first post, and you covered all bases but it was a bit difficult to read because of some problems with spelling, grammar, and capitalisation. However, based on the country you registered with I’d guess you aren’t a native English speaker, so I’d be inclined to be less critical. However, it would greatly improve your professionalism if you could try running the first post through a spellchecker. The only other thing I’d say is that the first post could use a bit of jazzing up with BBCode, fancy fonts, symbols, infographics, and image-based links. But I can see you worked hard on this!

The list of BoD staff is a good addition, though similar to above, it would be great to run it through a spellchecker. The only other thing I’d say is that it’d be good to list all of your staff there, not only for customers and your staff but also to make things like activity checks and managing inactive members easily for you.

But overall, you have clearly put lots of effort into creating your shop, and you’ve also covered all bases. However, to improve it’d be great to see some of the strategies listed above implemented to increase professionalism and the first post’s attractiveness. But great job!

However, I saw a long list of untaken orders in the Orders Hub, so I’d say other orders may take longer to be completed. The worker who took my order was polite and friendly, and sent an excellent notification message on my profile, but I’d say there did appear to be some problems with staff. First, I noticed there was a particular worker who seemed to be able to understand English to some degree but appeared to have to converse in another language. In the future, I’d recommend only hiring workers who can speak English well enough to be understood, and I’d recommend checking if that particular user can speak English as well as understand it. The only other thing I’d say is that some employees seemed to be having problems with snipping long quotes, so I’d recommend sending out a post reminding people to do that. But overall, the service and wait times were quicker than average and most staff were friendly and on-topic, so good job!

Product (9/10)
I was rather pleased with my order, it being of a far superior quality to many other everything shops out there. I also noted that since my order was left rather broad, the worker had used a bit of creative licence with extra effects, which I loved! They also showed great artistic composition in making the order, so overall I was very pleased with my order!

Overall, The Spritesmasher Shop has fast order times as well as quality work, however more could be done to increase professionalism and viewer interest in the first post by using the strategies listed above. Great job!
