1) They’re actually just groups of people, but we call them parties, that run together for the council elections.

And what will be used with the currency stashed away? To be used to the same effect as normal ShopBux, it has to be only stashed away in, say, ScratchBux when not being used. When it is being used, it'll be converted back. The inflation effect is the same, not to mention that it can serve as a tax haven and reduce tax revenue, which is important to stop inflation.

Our Acts
You’ve probably heard this enough times, but me and my fellow council members will each be making acts which will be voted on.

The Inflation Act
This act will help slow inflation from devaluing this scratch currency and we will be setting the ambitious goal of a 35% annual inflation rate by 25 August 2019. However, this will only work with the help of you, the employees and users of ShopBux. We will need you to help come up with ideas for how we can adjust tax and we would love to hear your feedback on these changes before and after they’ve been voted on. I’ve come up with some starting measures after a long discussion with MClovers about how we can combat inflation mainly involving taxation and lowering of starting balances.

In a brief summary, we will be increasing tax on richer customers whilst leaving the current measures in place. We will also be making the bold move of reducing the starting balance of shops to 150 and we will be removing 50 SSB from the balances of all shops, which will come into effect after this has been voted on. While this may disappoint some, we see it as a move that had to be made eventually. This will make SSB much more valuable temporarily and will help keep SSB from excessive inflation. Here is the official list of changes (a.k.a what you’ll be voting on)

A 10% tax rate on SSB above a customer balance of 150 SSB.
The starting balance given to shops when they join will be changed to 150 SSB.
All shops will have 50 SSB taken from them to account for the change in starting balance.
Organisation starting balance will remain at 200 SSB and no SSB will be removed from current organisations.

Afterword
The vote will be released soon once people have had time to review all of the acts. I hope you vote for this act which will help SSB to combat inflation, one of the worst issues of our currency and one that we need to work towards slowing. We do not want no inflation, but we hope to lower it to a point where it is no longer a never ending issue.

Our Acts
The People's Party of ShopBux will be doing acts to be voted on. I will be doing a voting act, Carrots (@hellounicorns2) will be doing an inflation act and @NYCDOT will be re-doing his posting act. These will all be voted on using strawpoll.com and implemented as necessary.

The Voting Act
My act involved redrawing the boundaries of ShopBux voting, therefore creating a new group. I propose that quick and easy polls (e.g the one that this is) will be run on strawpoll.com. Elective polls and others that the Founders deem complex will be voted on using the ShopBux voting system. As for the new boundaries, there will be 6 votes:
Groups
Group 1 (G - F): 1
Group 2 (AP - P): 1
Group 3 (AC - C): 1
Group 4 (AS - S): 1
Group 5 (TH): 1
Group 6 (H and Smiley): 1
