Hello! Would you like to join the Scratch Shop Support Union?

About Us
The Scratch Shop Support Union a union of shops to the purpose of supporting each other and making each other stronger. We also help new shop owners or new request takers to find their way into the wide world of the requests forum.
How Are We Different From Other Shop Unions?
Whilst it wouldn't be fair to call large shop unions a list of shops and a page of rules, truth is, at this moment they really aren't much more than that. In comparison, SSSU has many shop support programs such as an employee-to-shop directive, where employees can easily be directed to shops looking for workers or that suit their style, a featured shop program, in which shops that are doing well and deserve more attention can be featured, and an orders-to-shop directive, in which orders can be exchanged or directed to certain member shops. We also provide services such as advice for your shop, shop banners and formatting. In this way SSSU exists to strengthen Scratch shops together.
So what are you waiting for? Join us now!

Welcome to the SSSU
Thank you for applying to join the SSSU! Your application has been accepted, and you are now a part of an ever-growing community. Yay!
As a member of the SSSU, you may use any of the services we provide. Here are some helpful links:
  • You can receive advice for your shop here! Running a shop can be challenging, especially when you are doing it alone. But in the SSSU, the good news is you are never alone! You can receive advice from any of our members, all who are also aware of what it takes to run a shop. The best part is, it won't be generic advice like ‘bump your shop, invite people’ (though that is good advice to listen to.) It will be tailored just to your shop!
  • You can receive banners and shop formatting for your shop here! Appearance can be a massive factor contributing to the amount of orders a shop gets. Customers will nearly always judge a shop by its first appearance and are less likely to order from a shop with a confusing, messy front page. Order a good banner or good format for your shop here!

Hi, I am interested in sprite art, but I'm not sure what the currencies are or how to get them. Could you explain?

Hi. To answer your question, the currencies are completely optional. Do you want sprite art, or are you conseidering becoming a sprite artist?

Welcome to The SRP!
As you know, you start out with 200 SR.
Use them wisely.
Also, if you want to give your workers some salary, make sure to get them registered and tell me the salary!

Thanks for the info: I was hoping someone could do sprite art for me.

What you want (could be anything): A dog sprite
Details: If it's not too much, I'd like my sprite to look like it's running (with more than one costume) but if that's too complicated, one costume will be fine. Colors are flexible, as long as a dog in real life could have a coat of the same color (so not light blue or anything)
When you need it: As soon as it can be done, preferably by next week.
Do you want to be notified on your profile?: That would help, thanks

Thanks for being so polite, by the way. :)
Wait, did that seem sarcastic? It wasn't.

No, it was fine! Not sarcastic at all. I've seen some people treating workers at shops like slaves, but it doesn't seem fair. One last question: if I wanted to use Shop Pass for the new scratcher offer, how would I do it?

I have no idea! Maybe something with my username or FF (FoxFriend) but my designs aren't usually great, so I'll leave the colours up to you. My favourite is orange, but I know that might be a bit strong. By the way, is there anything I can do in return? I know I've asked for a lot from you.

I would like to work with this shop, and as a agreement, I will own 2.5% of this.
Areas of expertise: BBCode, Coding, Reviews
Timezone: PT (Pacific Time)
Time on Scratch: Over an hour on weekdays, not online on weekends.
Activity (_/10): I am active 8/10 on weekdays, not online on weekends.
Why you?: I noticed you didn't have any employees, so i want to be the first employee here, and i want this to succeed, and make sure this is a good shop, and make sure to spend as much time as i can (i am busy owning another shop) on this and make my efforts.

Ok. Accepted. But what are you going to own 2.5% of? This forum? The money we have in the SRP?
