Script for EP. 1:
FLASHBACK: SHUTDOWN
People fall to the ground.
Blood drops from a tree. There are screams.
Dawn logo flashes into existence.
Cut to:
Mira is walking through the grass and passes behind a tree. “Hi, I'm Mira.” She bumps into Len, who grins.
Len: “Ouch!” He laughs. “I'm Len.”
Mira: “Welcome to the Kids' Sector of Quolono.”
Sarah is talking to Gwenette behind them. Camera pans in on them.
Sarah: “Gwenette, we NEED to figure out that way to climb the tree.”
Gwenette: “It's too dangerous. Sorry.”
Sarah gets angry. “Nothing's too dangerous. I'll even ask Amaratha.” (This is a bad idea.)
She stomps off and goes straight to Amaratha, who's talking with Miles and Copper.
Amaratha: “So you've finally asked for my help, huh? Sorry, but I'm too good for you.”
Miles: “Be nice!”
Copper: “Amaratha, you're kinda mean. You should be nicer.”
She walks away.
Amaratha laughs and runs off. “You can't catch me!!”
Sarah fumes and Emir walks up to her. “It's OK. She's a jerk.”
Camera pans to Amaratha running through the forest nimbly. She passes Keri and Topin.
Keri: “What's she doing NOW?”
Topin: “I have no idea.”
Miles is chasing Amaratha, shouting. All of a sudden, Amaratha sees shadows revolving around her, taking the form of a shadow monster…
Amaratha screams.
Miles pulls her back.
They both faint.
1 hour later, Nolin walks up. “What are they doing here?”
Somar is behind him. “I have no idea.”
Nolin: “We should get them back to the camp. Copper will know what to do!”
They find Allio and Gum at the camp. “Allio, where's your sister.”
Allio: “I don't know.”
Gum: “We have to find her!!”
