The first poem I ever published to Scratch, FIRE is about a hungry bonfire left unattended that grows into a raging bushfire. Full of descriptive imagery, it is a vivid poem.


LOST has a relevant moral about speaking up about what you think whether people seem to be listening or not. It uses short verses of four lines to emphasise the point. LOST contains a straight to the point message that is very relevant to today's youths.


PICTURE describes a still summer day with ‘the lush, rich green grass // and soft peaceful blue skies’ This poem captures the breathtaking stillness of that perfect day. Once again, PICTURE uses descriptive imagery to set the mood.


WINTER HAS BEGUN is written in two verses. The first verse describes what I imagine a winter in somewhere like England would be, my dream winter. The second verse is my reality, Australia where it just cools down a ton and rains more, but isn't really that different. Australian trees don't even lose their leaves! WINTER HAS BEGUN uses descriptive imagery and rhyming devices.


WATCHING THE STARS is about growing up and going into the “real world.” This man reflects on how as a little kid he would have the time to watch the stars and be free, and now he is confined to his office for the majority of the day and has no time to be free. WATCHING THE STARS uses repetition and engages all the senses.

A short story set on a battlefield, UNDER THE MOON shows two children, the picture of innocence, discussing their confusion over war. They also display a sense of powerlessness as they want to do something to stop it but cannot. UNDER THE MOON is meant to invoke the motivation in people to change what they think is wrong. After all, would you leave things as they are to let your children see it around them?


Hearttouching and emotional, SORRY is a short story about a broken family with a mother no longer around and the father rarely sober. This story shows how despite all this, they still all love each other no matter and can still forgive each other. This story uses a prompt from the Camp Elemental assignment.

PIXEL ART FAIRY is a beautiful fairy drawn using pixel art. Large pixels creates a simple style that makes the art very distinct and effective. Unusually, a black background is used to contrast the light colours of the fairy.


CHARACTER FOR COOL CODE COLLABORATIONS is a pixel art character created for Cool Code Collaboration, a collaboration created by DevilKing54. It is poorly animated as it was a rushed job.
