The Shop Assistance Association is an organization founded by VideoGamerCanInvent which helps shops complete orders when they are having trouble with them.

How Does It Work? To receive help from the SAA, you must first become a member. Before you do that, you must make sure that both you and your shop are eligible for this program, by clicking “Eligibility” on the front page. After you have met the requirements, you may press “Join” and fill out the form.

As a Member, What Happens? As a member, you can come to us when you are in need in some help. If there is an incomplete order that is more than a week old, if there is an order your shop cannot complete, if you just received a boatload of orders, or anything along those lines, you'll be able to come to us, so some of our experienced staff members can get the job done for you.

Is There a Limit to How Many Orders We Can Give You? You may give us as many orders as you need, but the orders must pass be eligible for the SAA. Details can be found in the “Eligibility” section.

How Do We Give You An Order? Visit the “Members” section, and you'll find a link that will direct you to a form in which you can fill out.

Member Requirements:

-The shop must have at least three active members
-The shop uses order forms
-The shop is organized
-The shop owner has obtained the “Scratcher” status
-The shop owner has at least 50 posts
-The SAA thread must be followed
-The shop has already received and completed one order with decent quality

Your membership will be revoked if you no longer meet one or more of the requirements. SAA will also remove your shop from membership if it goes one week with no orders or one month without any activity with SAA. If your membership is revoked at any time, unless stated otherwise, you can reapply for SAA after one week. SAA has the right to revoke your membership for any valid reason or decline your application.

Order Requirements:

Untaken Orders:

-Order must be a week old
-No staff member has the ability to complete it
-The user still needs order

If we notice multiple orders in a set amount of time are in the same category, we will advise you to remove that products from your shop.

Incomplete Orders:

-Order has been taken, but not completed
-The order was taken at least five days ago
-A second employee attempted it but couldn't complete it (please provide proof. However, an exception can be made if no other staff member can complete it)
-The user still needs order

The SAA cannot complete orders unless the user has been asking about its progress.

Heaps of Orders:

For shops that just received a boatload of orders

-Give us no more than 30% of these orders until the SAA has completed these
-Customers must need orders ASAP
-Your active staff must be working on most of the other orders

The SAA can complete over 30% of your mountain of orders, but they have to finished with these ones before they can move on. You must be contributing to completing at least some of these orders.

Hiring Requirements:

-User has at least distinguished skill that can be used for completed orders for the SAA
-User must have “Scratcher” status
-User has over 100 posts in forum
-User owns or has authority in at least one active shop
-User can provide examples of work

The SAA has the right to decline your application. Authority of the SAA reserve the right to fire you for any valid reason. Inactivity will lead to fire.

1. Respect and Language

1.1 Posts must be considered nice to the Scratcher whom is to read it.

2. Employees

2.1 Only SAA Leaders may accept people into the shop. (Owner, Co-Owner, and all Managers).
2.2 When accepting, please use the term “Accepted!” If rejecting, please thoroughly explain to applicant why.
2.3 Only take orders you think you can complete (if you are mostly positive you may still take it).
2.4 Treat members with respect.
2.5 Please make sure that banners and logos are uploaded with imageshack or cubeupload.
2.6 Please make sure that you are fairly active.
2.7 Only take orders you know you can finish!
2.8 Only take orders in your department(s).
2.9 Follow this SAA thread.

3. Hiring and Firing Members:

3.1 Only high rank members can accept members.
3.2 Members can only be fired for extreme inactivity or for breaking the rules.
3.3 Please make sure the applicant follows all joining rules before accepting.
3.4 Do not accept members that didn't apply.
3.5 Do not fire members that didn't do anything wrong.

4. Members

4.1 No overusing of SAA- Your shop needs to complete orders too.
4.2 Always provide a descriptive response when answering final question on “Ordering Help” forum.
4.3 No asserting authority- it only belongs to staff members.
4.4 No arguing or talking back if an order is declined or your membership is revoked.
4.5 Follow this SAA thread.
4.6 Bump your order after 18 hours if not noticed.

-Credit must be given: Always give credit to the user who worked on your products. Always make sure that credit is placed in appropriate places, and don't try to say that you made it yourself.

As the Shop Assistance Associate reopens, we are now partnering with the Shop Ranking Association! We have invested in this partnership believing that we can work together to help shops grow and manage bigger crowds, thus helping shops grow, but also continuing to provide assistance when needed.

The Shop Assistance Association has officially opened! We are now accepting member and staff applications. “I am so excited to see what this organization will turn into. I remember back in May of 2017 when I opened The Come n' Leave Fast Shop, not realizing that it would become one of the largest shops on Scratch. I look forward to helping shops complete their orders, and can't wait to develop an amazing team of people.” These are the words of VGCI, the founder and owner of the SAA. He has owned just one shop, but has run many other organizations. He is ready to give this one a shot.
